I’d be more than happy for us to clear out every cm we have and sign players like this. Place of Birth: Leicester Obviously born whilst Robbie was still with us.
pmcla26 Posted 6 May 2025 Posted 6 May 2025 Lucas Stassin from St. Etienne https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lucas-stassin/profil/spieler/655012
Richard Posted 7 May 2025 Posted 7 May 2025 Angus Gunn released by Norwich. Would be a good, cheap, experienced backup/competition for Stolarczyk 1

FrankieADZ Posted 7 May 2025 Posted 7 May 2025 Callum Doyle would be a decent buy if we could get him back here suspect he wouldnt cost the earth either 1

Knowing Rudkin he will negotiate a swap deal with Monga.

Forster on the basis that he become the third choice if we get promoted.
LCFCJohn Posted 8 May 2025 Posted 8 May 2025 Just from the domestic market, and let’s be honest, expecting our lot to bring in exotic names from abroad is unlikely! My top 5 to bring in would be: Back up GK Names above all good for this, Gunn, Woodman and Forster. Any of them. CB Harry Darling (25) On a free from Swansea. CM Josh Brownhill (29) Free from Burnley. 18 goals from centre mid and second highest scorer in the league. Captain and leader for Burnley. Charlie Savage (22) Left footer so would provide a good balance we had with KDH. 5 goals and 9 assists from centre mid in L1 (9 and 13 in all competitions). 2 years left on contract and wouldn’t cost too much (fee and wages). ST Richard Kone (21) 18 goals for Wycombe. 1 year left so also likely cheap fee and won’t be in high wages. I doubt these will happen. Brownhill might stay on at Burnley for example. Darling might have let his contract expire to get a bigger move to the PL. unfortunately this is where Brentford, Bournemouth, Fulham etc are now more attractive options than us. You’d imagine though you could fit the four outfield players wages into what Vardy is freeing up. And fee wise, only Savage and Kone would have a fee and with 2 and 1 years left respectively and both being in L1 (assuming Wycombe don’t win the playoffs), we would likely get change from £10mill for both. It does also mean moving some out, particularly at centre back and also in centre mid (likely easier to do though. So we will probably miss out on targets. 4
Tommy Fresh Posted 8 May 2025 Posted 8 May 2025 Alvyn Sanches would have definitely been gettable, but he's crocked and likely not going anywhere this summer 1

Guest Posted 9 May 2025 Posted 9 May 2025 Danny Ings would probably be quite good if he could stay fit and if he didn't want paying much, which unfortunately are two of the biggest ifs in human history

So I can't imagine he would be cheap. 1
Leicesterpool Posted 9 May 2025 Posted 9 May 2025 (edited) Ings may fancy a return to Burnley anyway. My only fear in terms of if the Foxes go in for in 52 appearances for West Ham he's only scored 4! His record at Villa was fairly okay 48 appearances 13 goals. Edited 9 May 2025 by Leicesterpool

My biggest fear is his age, his injury record, his likely wage demands and complete lack of sell on value
AjcW Posted 9 May 2025 Posted 9 May 2025 Luton probably fancy keeping him but Thelo Aasgard would be a great signing, been amazing since moving from Wigan. I know we probably don't need a LB but the revival of Harry Toffolo at Forest in recent weeks reminded me how solid he is when he plays. No way he's a prem LB but class at champ level. Decent bloke too, our daughters go to the same nursery
