A Paraguayan attacking midfielder. Can't see that as a priority. And as it would be a loan, it would only happen if Edouard goes.

It’s only two Premier League loans, you can have additional loans from abroad.

ignore that, didn’t read the article 😂

Facundo would have to go back for it to happen

Don’t think he can go back now anyway as he’s played enough games.

Personally think we all just decided that he's our best player because of his form for the opening few months and are ignoring the fact he's actually not been that good since.

1 goal and no assist in his last 12.

Is it ambition or is it just an organised structure and joined up thinking with a competent ceo and dof

Either way it's streets ahead of us.

It’s one of those things isn’t it. I mean, I can never wish my club goes down but if we hadn’t done what we did last year, would it have been a change in key positions this season. The success of last year effectively meant it gave them their own justification to carry on.

If we fluked survival this year, it would be the same thinking. We did what we needed to. We are excellent, carry on.

The club keeps getting hit (2 relegations in 3 years, multiple years at risk of PSR breaches), they have no choice.

I suppose at least it would mean he would be back for the Championship next season… (until he wants to go back to Italy again)

I bet we do sign players. The Ipswich team everyone goes on about are only two points ahead of us, even with us losing 7 on the bounce! Can’t remember us getting drubbed 6-0 at home either.

That Ipswich team was in league 1 two seasons ago whilst we should have been challenging europe! They are better than us on and off the pitch and nobody can argue that.

End of the day. The club will still be going whether we are getting tubbed by the Oligarch / Hedge Fund FC's in the Prem, Part of the upper eschelons of the EFL, or completing resetting as a club under new owners and philiosophy in League One as we have already done once. Anyone who has followed Harborough Town this season will know that there's enjoyment to be got out of any level of football if the club has an air of positivity about it.

All that we can ask for in the mean time is that we live up to the motto's of the club, pick players that don't quit and that want to play for the club and reciprocally the fans get behind them to try and give every advantage possible.

The reality on signings is that it's OBVIOUS we are having to do some juggling to financially comply and even clearer that what stops us shifting on underperforming players is that they are on such well paid long contracts. So Faes, Choudhury, Vestergaard, Daka, Ward etc have been difficult or impossible to shift because their wages of £50k-100k make them impossible to send abroad, and anyone in champo or prem who can technically afford them won't do a quick deal at high cost for an average player - they will wait until the end of the window to see if we blink. THis is what hamstrings us in Jan windows  and so we need to stop getting our knickers in a twist as there's nothing we can do about it until we've purged all of the Rudkin/Rogers era contracts and started afresh.
