A US judge has ordered the Trump administration to restore the Associated Press's access to presidential events after the White House blocked the news agency in a dispute over the term "Gulf of America".

District Judge Trevor McFadden on Tuesday said the administration's restriction on AP journalists was "contrary to the First Amendment", which guarantees freedom of speech.

 

A little bit of better news regarding checks and balances.

Very good watch.Stagnant wage growth,high cost of living and the need to keep feeding the current economic model being some of the main causes.

I presume immigration is a short term fix as importing a workforce just means that said workforce ends up facing exactly the same issues.Unaffordable housing etc and a drop in the birth rate.That bottleneck has to be faced at some point.

Absolutely disgraceful. And we think Putin and his ilk are the only dictators/restrictors of free speech.

 

Trump and his cabinet are operating as dictators in a democracy.

 

I wish American people would pull their heads out of the sand and realise but I know that's never going to happen. 

 

"Rednecks" must outnumber "normal realists" by many thousands.

 

It's really frustrating that Trump tanked the markets and then rolled back on sanctions creating a false recovery but by doing that making himself and wealthy investors loads of money.
