Nothing good will come from it imo

hopefully he will just keep repeating how grateful he is for the support of the USA and not allow the host to push him into more responses that will upset trump.

Yeah, this is just a standard Trump Presidency, it was the same the last time.

 

The good news is there’s only around 4 years left of this… assuming Trump actually leaves The White House at the end of his term.

That won’t be the case for a significant portion of the US audience though.

 

I can’t help feeling this whole week has been a setup; with the end goal of forcing Zelenskyy to resign so that the US / Russia can install a puppet leader in Ukraine that grants the US their minerals and Russia further control over Ukraine.

 

The much more moderate press conferences with Macron and Starmer were a prelude to “look how unreasonable Zelenskyy is.”

 

Note Trump’s comment on liking Starmer’s suit for example!

Sod Brexit the country now needs to get together with Europe and become a powerful part of the European Union or we will all get swallowed up by either Russia , America or China. Being part of a more together Europe is the only way in my opinion

trump has already said hes welcome back when he’s  ready to talk peace!  

trump wants the minerals in Ukraine away from the four oblasts already under Russian occupation.  I reckon trump will try and make a deal with Russia over those.  This is also about trying to separate Russia from china’s grasp. Trump sees that as a bigger threat to americas global position - he only cares for what he can get out of ukraine in a deal.

Problem is, it’s not as simple as saying “Europe, unite”. What do you do about Hungary and Slovakia, for instance? What about other far-right parties across Europe who are both sympathetic toward Russia and could get into power?
