Having seen it, the Ipswich last minute pen was a weak decision.

Not to deny that the ref let Derby off a few times before that, but it was a passage of play that you wouldn't expect to result in a penalty.

Pretty decent weekend for us. Losses or draws for our apparent competitors. One thing I’ve realised though, the lad in midfield for Boro is very good.

Hackney?

Very good.

Our social media figures show that we're the most followed club in the league by a country mile.

Compare with Birmingham and the figures aren't even close.

Twitter - LCFC 2.7m vs BCFC 471k

Facebook - LCFC 9.6m vs BCFC 508k

Instagram - LCFC 7.8m vs BCFC 306k

TikTok - LCFC 3.7m vs BCFC 317k.

I don't think Leicester fans have a grasp on how much we rose in the last 15 years vs how far we've fallen to end up in the same position. Without being funny or arrogant, we're a genuinely massive club now in comparison to the clubs in this division.

The above shows instagram followers from when we were last in the Championship. Leicester had almost more than the rest of the league combined.

You have to bear in mind that half our fans have been hypnotised into thinking we're a tiny club who were in League One for our entire history until we were saved by King Power in 2010.

After yet another VAR shit show yesterday, I can't state enough how glad I am that we are in a league that doesn't have it.

Celebrated Ricky's goal on Friday harder than any last season because I knew there wasn't going to be some bullshit reason to rule it out!

If there was VAR he wouldn't have been on the pitch

I don't think the number of followers on social media is a good marker for assessing how "big" a club is. Like with most of the web, it's often false and not based on true reality.

Being a premier league club for a a while especially with huge exposure abroad, we attracted a lot of attention, yes, and we also get new "followers" and "fans" when we sign a player from country X - but remember, many of these "fans" are transient and move on from club to club when players move on.

If we have millions of and millions of fans world wide, you'd be expecting our stadium to be full to the rafters for every match week in week out.

Much as I loved going down Filbert Street, it added to the impression of little old Leicester, particularly when numbers were capped at around 20k. Of course nowadays the season tickets seem to sell fast, whether we had a good or bad season.

Copied from American sports.

What people really want is the real conversation heard not just the outcome .

I find it odd they don't just air it. The commentators end up relaying the conversation anyway :dunno:

Only just realised the deadline is at 7pm tonight. Usually at 11pm so wonder why it's changed.

I presume because it would normally have been on the 31st, but happy to be corrected.
