He's not particularly skilful but damn are we missing someone with the box-to-box energy Ohashi has for Blackburn.

It may be a stereotype but it's a true one - Japanese players always give 100%. God I miss Shinji.

Another team likely to leapfrog us with any sort of points deduction then

EDIT - forgot about their absolute stitch up of an abandonment against Ipswich too, they should be above us right now.

If they do build a 60,000 seater stadium regardless of how it looks it's going to look half empty or more than half empty any home game but they'll try justifying it because it's full a few times a year because of NFL or concerts. Why I'm glad ours hasn't gone ahead so far because within the next year or so we'll be lucky if we get more than 23,000 at a home game.

It’s about supply and demand though.

If tickets dropped in price to fill a 60,000 stadium, it’s getting filled.

60,000 - Average Ticket Price of £15 - £900,000 per match.

30,000 - Average Ticket Price of £30 - £900,000 per match.

However the extra 30,000 buy food, buy drink, tat from the shop, bet more, bring more to the local economy, so the overall revenue increases not just for the club, however the local area.

Those ticket revenues are a drop in the ocean…..that’s once a fortnight incidentally…..that business plan needs Premier League tv revenues, and dare I say it European football ( Villa for example)…..sadly we are in the aftermath of new bigger ground, state of the art training facilities, and mid table Championship team …….

Oh, I agree on the stadium.

If anything, it almost needs re-assessing as it’s too small now if you look at the bigger picture.

All the underlying stats suggested they'd sort their shit out with a change of manager and that's exactly what's happening. Norwich could well be the same and Ipswich will go through the gears soon too. Just us that are the absolute fcukin pits.

Wish I’d put money on Tonda getting the saints job rather than suggesting it on here and getting laughed at lol
