Interesting that the top 3 are Coventry, Middlesbrough and stoke.

That Coventry side is so good because of the foundations built by Mark Robins and Adi Viveash.

Adi Viveash is the assistant at Middlesbrough (was manager today) and Mark robins is obviously the Stoke manager.

Norwich City have sacked head coach Liam Manning following a seventh successive home defeat, which has left them second bottom of the Championship.

What are the discipline rules in Championship?

Thomas and Pereira on 4 yellows. What's the cut off to get an automatic 1 game ban for 5 yellows? 23 games or by a certain date?

After 19 games the threshold goes up to 10 yellows for a two match ban, and then after 37 games it goes up to 15 yellows for a three match ban

Manning is a good coach, somethings just not worked for him there. I think he’ll pick up a lower end. Championship club and do well again at some point soon

Derby really quite a poor team but amazing the difference a striker who actually scores goals can make!!!

Goalkeeper pretty darned good, too!

Could have Derby Cov and Forest in PL next season and us in league 1. Stranger things have happened

More likely have all four of us in the Championship, with Wolves, West Brom, Birmingham too.

Could have a real midlands feel to the Championship

Just an idea but would it be a good idea to have a thread of an ongoing league table with us on -9 points.

keep looking at the table and thinking we’re not too far off play offs and autos and then remembering that we will be getting a deduction.

probably won’t be 9 points but at least it’s more realistic

when is the points deduction actually coming? it's a bit of an enigma atm

People are so reactive. By the end of the season Southampton and Ipswich will be up there with one of them probably managing second.

id still be surprised if we couldn’t push for a playoff spot (points deduction depending)

this table will shake out very different over the next 30 games

a run of 3 wins would propel anyone back in amongst it
