How many Premier League players have we genuinely got?

I can't think of one.

Jordan James ceiling is premier league, Fatawu seems to be getting worse, if he develops his game and stops becoming a one trick pony then he could play in the prem.

Fatawu goes into a decent PL team and nails it. We depend on him too much rather than giving him the what he needs to succeed.

Lots will say Riccy, but he's not been and that standard for a while now.

But i've said for a long time, this squad is far worse than the one Enzo had, let alone one that we think contains PL players.

Shades of Maddison's line...

Also I think some of Jordan James' quotes show the thought process inside the club:

But do we? We have players that have played in the PL, sure. But do we have PL quality? It's only really Ricky P and Ayew who can claim that and both clearly past their best.

There's a major culture of delusion at the club. James would be well advised to get out of there ASAP.

You know things are bad when our own fans are advising our best players to leave for their own good :D

Fair play.

Obviously Monga too has the potential but besides those 3 I think we're struggling.

There seems to be a misnomer that because they have played in the Premier League they are Premier League players - Obviously they playd horrendously in the Premier League and the majority are no better than mid table Championship level at best.

I'm sort of seeing it with Fatawu. I think the entire thing is dragging everybody down and it stays this way under this owner. Under sensible ownership I think the first thing I'd want to happen is James was bought.

How did we lose to Hull lol

Just had exactly the same thought, then after a rethink realised it’s because we are garbage and there are probably worse defeats to come.

People asking 'how did we lose to Hull?'

Well, much the same way we've lost to most of the teams we've played in the last season-and-a-half: we are pushed around and bullied in a way that is, frankly, pathetic. We have no physicality, no strength, no stamina and no bite in tackles or tussles or any aspect of the game. We are a bunch of weeds.

And why? Where did this come from? I can't ever remember the likes of Taggart or Walsh or Elliot or Steve Howard or Huth or Kanté letting the opposition walk all over them, and I don't get why the current lot allow it - Jeez - we have 11 in the team, they're not pygmies (even up to 6' 7"!!) and they, presumably have a fitness coach (?) and fitness regimes.

It is embarrassing. They seem to have no pride and certainly no fight.

....and it will be the same tomorrow - local pride at stake - but we will just roll over as usual.

Derby County versus Weeds United.
