Boro looked very good last night everything we are not, played with great intensity and looked to mix it up, playing possession

football but with purpose and energy rather than this slow laboured style we seem to favour.

Thought exactly the same. Can see how their momentum is building and fans on board. Bet not many of them would have Carrick back now. Our seeming obsession with possession based shite is becoming more and more of a problem

The covid jab conspiracy nutjobs have been out in force again on social media after the news. Someone died ffs and all some people care about is using it as ammunition to suit their own agenda. Absolutely rotten behaviour.

They need to start fining that cowboy Venky (or whoever is in charge now) for lack of standards, twice in two months when the rest of the league has been fine in similar weather is a pisstake.

Well they were winning both until the  abandonment so I suppose they're getting the shaft anyway.  That's if it's on them.  Can't really control the weather.  Was it torrential rain like last time?

Ehh, I'm from up that way and unless I've missed something every club is dealing with the same conditions. Preston are practically next door and they were able to finish their game no problem. Last I checked Blackburn doesn't have it's own unique microclimate, they're just failing to maintain their pitch properly because they're owned by skinflints.

 

Maybe it's all those holes the Beatles were singing about. Now we know how many holes it takes to get a game called off.

Fingers crossed that's a proper kick in the gonads for Cov by the way - properly humbled today. If they bottle promotion it'll make a shit season a little more palatable.

Wonder if there will be an outrage again if the game gets rearranged…. or maybe not.
