This league is so god awful. Stoke are 6th on 30 points.. Three points ahead of us.. If we are a serious club we could sneak our way up again but we're not a a serious club.

10 points ahead of 22nd and the relegation spots. 9 off 2nd. Mad league haha. Guess the picture of where each team is might be clearer after the festive period.

Glad cov finally got a good beating, few more losses will get them looking nervous. If we are still with in 6 points of the play offs around January time and manage to get 1 or 2 more loans in we can defo make a push for it with how terrible the league is this year

Cov have no strength in depth , they were always going to struggle when they got a few injuries- hopefully that continues.

I fancy Ipswich to go up automatically, Southampton to finish third unless Cov really implode.

You forgetting the likely points deduction?

Just wish they’d bloody hurry up and sort this out and let us know where we stand this season.

Not really Championship but magnificent non the less.

On the same day as Leicester win and score 3, Derby, Forest and Coventry are all defeated and conceded 3 - to make it even better, obviously we scored 3 past Derby, but a former Leicester player was also in the goals against both Forest (KDH) and Cov (Hirst) - A magnificent day for football.

Sheffield United on the march now as well. Last 4 games, 3-0, 3-0, 3-1, 4-0.

Coventry, Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Southampton and Sheffield United look like the top 5 for me. Not sure who else will take the last play off place. Birmingham maybe.

3-2 mate.  We've gotta take anything we can get!

True lol. Yep typo. So actually, we are

the only ones who have laid a glove on them recently! That said, Wednesday and Portsmouth are pretty bad which were their two wins before us. And Stoke are in a massively false position based on the fact even we beat them and Daka scored!

Quite a weird day in the Championship.

2 games abandoned which doesn’t really happen.

Tragic events at Charlton. Devastating that anyone goes to a football match and don’t make it home.

Blackburn fans must be fuming at their clubs inability to be able to play home games when it rains, particularly when winning both times.

Bristol City going all ‘Millwall’ on well….Millwall!

Hirst very lucky to not get a second yellow yesterday, and would have been at 0-0. Absolutely brain dead.

Happy with the result mind.

Yep - he should have been sent off

What a shame for Coventry that a decision went against them, hopefully that will form a crack in them and start a run of form that drags them back into a battle instead of running away with it.

Ipswich showed that they are only an average side

Why is it constantly rolled out that this league is so god damn awful, surely the words competitive otherwise why do we also hear the championship is the hardest league to get out of?

Just because it’s deemed we are shite but yet still closer to the top than the bottom it’s assumed the whole league is shite, would it not be shite if there were 4 clubs so far ahead that teams 5 to 24 can’t catch them much like the premier league, would that make it a better league?

The Championship is the 5th most watched league in the world I believe and it’s because of the unpredictably of it that makes it so, not because it’s shite.

I think its because the quality is so poor.

The quality of this league is absolutely horrendous - almost comical at times.

Any team that can string a few results together can get out of it.

Still think we have a chance of the playoffs, even with the points deduction,  so long as we can get some momentum.

Still think Sheffield Utd will be in the play off too and they should be too given the squad they've got.

Not reading too much into their poor start.

15 percent of Wrexham has now been sold to Apollo Sports Capital, the same company that owns La Ligagiants Atletico Madrid.

US backed PE firms mopping up at the minute!

Apollo also operate in a similar way to Macquarie through this fund with a “transfer funding” model.
