Digital tickets are fine, just need to start doing it, and it becomes clear.

And don’t get too hung up on profit from resales, there’s a ticket office, call handler, rates, lighting heating, wages…..and they don’t sell them all ( look at last night) I hope (think) they’ll make ticket sharing more flexible next year.

Accept I’ll get slaughtered fo this but 23 games for £440 is incredibly cheap….it’s £12 to watch Stamford….

Mine's £580/23 = £25 a game which is fair value.

However, I can only make a maximum of 15 games per season, probably more like 10-12, so if the limit on selling/transferring tickets is 5, then it's more like £580/17 = £34. That's when I start to question if it's worth it, especially with the dross we're currently being served up, and the way the club is being run. Lets be honest, it's not exactly a great experience attending a home game anymore.

I am surprised the digital ticketing for so many is the straw what broke the camels back.

By and large, a dormant fan base really kicks off over something which is already used at the likes of Bromley, Harrogate Town, Bradford City, Lech Poznan and all sorts of grounds I've been to in Europe.

This isn't an endorsement of it. Just there's umpteen different issues crop up in recent years and that's the one that's got people.

It's the way it's been handled and wrapped up with we've listened and still done exactly what we wanted.

You just know that it's been purely done for their own benefit and I can guarantee that my phone will go down, the system won't work etc where all I want to have is a ticket or card for the game - where the ****ing hells the problem with that.

Also I don't remember the queues being so big previously to get into games and I've been continually behind people where the digital passes don't work.

All in all it's a totally crap system as far as I'm concerned

4 of us aren't renewing. 17 years we have been going but just cannot support this club at the minute major changes need to take place and the only way they surely see it is if people stop going!

I think you’d be surprised how many people share tickets. Have done for 10 years with my brother, this decision means we can’t do it anymore

Unless I've misread the club's announcement when can I move my season ticket seat within the safe standing area?

One of our group isn't renewing and I'll like my seat like 3 rows back in the L block.

I believe you renew then post in the ballot to reassign. This appeared to be what Jim Donnelley answered to a similar question in tonight’s meeting on the topic.

Loads of people do it, myself included, although it's been against the rules as long as I can remember. I don't think the club used to give a toss but I think there have been issues with them being sold on at Leicester and elsewhere. I've never taken money for mine and I don't think it's ever been used by anyone who's not actually known to the club, but hey ho

This digital entry shite doesn't work properly yet does it. 2 people in  front of me in the queue  last night were sent round to the ticket office to sort it out. Until it works for everyone, everytime it should not be compulsory.

Read that it didn't work for quite a few people with digital tickets and also those with cards. Apparently if you went into the fan zone and then used the ticket at the turnstiles it didn't work to get into the ground there was a post on Facebook about it.

Do they need any affiliation with LCFC to receive the transferred ticket? - The person you are transferring to has to be linked to your account

Why didn't they increase it past 5? - They should have done, we will continue to lobby on this issue

Is there any punishment for leaving the seat empty if it's not transferred? - No, but some clubs have a maximum number of games where you either have to attended, transferred or re-sold per season (that isn't the case for our club)

Is there a limit on times I can sell the ticket? - Yes, that's also 5 times (so up to 5 times transfer & up to 5 times resale, but no flexibility between the two, so can't do 7 and 3, which we have lobbied for since last summer)

Is there any punishment for leaving the seat empty if it isn't sold (even if advertised)? No, its not your fault if it doesn't re-sell and of course you don't get your 1/19th refund if it doesn't

The limit is 5 transfers & 5 resales, so 10 in total, which might work for you, but we are still pushing for the club to be more flexible, like many other clubs

This was one of the known reasons that so many kept the physical card last season, we have made precisely this point with the club, we did last summer when we lobbied for more flexibility, so instead of 5 permitted transfers & 5 resales, that up to 10 transfers were allowed. We haven't given up on this issue.

Can you share the clubs reasoning for saying NO?

Stubbornness!

There is an obvious conclusion that to allow say 10 transfers instead of 5 transfers and 5 resales would deny the club the additional revenue of 5 tickets at matchday prices (if they do re-sell)

Of course if they don’t resell, then the ST holder is losing the promoted benefit of receiving 1/19th of the ST price back

The Trust will be saying more on this soon

I'm not sure about that,  I see little or maybe no profit in the reselling by the clubs of tickets except when the game is a sell out.  My ticket has on all three occasions sold despite the club not selling all there tickets.  If I had not  sent my for resale the chances are they would of sold another ticket and kept all the revenue,  rather than passing over about half to me.

Poorly attended but that was the short notice. All online 14 supporters attended 4 staff. Some clarifications came out, club told some of the information lacked clarity. It was acknowledged that the announcement for 5 minutes had two different graphics on impacted areas which is now corrected. A number of the participants will be required to consider moving and I think the staff did a fair job in at least making them feel better. Nice to be confirmed if you do have to move and you do not like offerings you can cancel your ticket. It was stated that if demand is there there will be rolling increases likely across the kop so if moving you may want to consider SK4 so you are not caught up twice. One supporter of safe standing asked many good questions.about why this layout was chosen. Sight lines had a lot to do with it. Concerns about standing spill over into seats staff said they don’t expect that but it will be managed if occurs. Timing of renewal window needed to be early but did not want it fully over Easter Holiday windows when some may be away. Most other items were individual and small group specific concerns. That’s about what I noted apologies if I missed anything.

Think this was always something clubs were collectively going to clamp down as technically even without a fee it’s considered by the law as touting. Incredibly only with football tickets tho.

Spot on Cosbeh the big clubs particularly around London see hundreds of thousands per game not going into their pockets so a big push to control this by them and adopted then enforced on all clubs. It’s easy as the national police also pressure on control. Way of the world I am afraid. What I don’t understand is they know who are mass reselling tickets but these ‘agencies seem to never be touched makes me wonder who in football is benefitting. I hold my hands up that I have used these routes to get tickets was denied entry and detained at a Leicester away game at the old Boleyn Ground for having someone else’s ticket. Gave a written statement and then they still let us in go figure.

Just get an old mobile phone with no sim that can connect to wifi. Download your ticket onto there and pass the phone around the family with who wants to go.

Or so I've heard that done anyway.

A friend told me about it.

100% not me

Frankly I'd like a refund for this year's season ticket.

I paid up-front expecting to see football matches. For the past seven games (debatably more) there's only been one team playing any, and it isn't the one I bought a ticket to see.

If people could get their money back after being missold PPI, I want mine back for paying £30+ a pop to watch eleven training cones for the past few months.

The club are asking fans to renew before the season ends . I want a statement from the club about the way forward. What is our medium term plan . How are we going to manage in the championship . Are we likely to get a transfere ban or points deduction. Will we be focusing on our young players. Will Ruud stay . Will Rudkin be replaced. Will Whelan mess up the finances again and get us into more trouble. What will be our recruitment policy. Don't expect me to re new when the club is being run this badly in almost every department and not say a word . Hide away and hope it gets better is not an option . Action is needed NOW and until I see some evidence of change the club can do one.

Functionality is absolutely fine.  Never had a problem. Get there at 2:55 and there will be ques, digital tickets or not.  Scans as easily as a barcode on a paper ticket for me.

However, i cant imagine my mum or dad or a lot of pensioners being confident using them.  There is also the fact that many people like to save tickets as momentos (first game, big game, so and so's last game etc) and you can't do that with digital tickets.

I also dont like the fact its another type of control/monitoring etc in a digital world.

Pensioners are not being forced into the NFC tickets, keeping hold of used tickets ended for me with the FA Cup final, it wasn’t a proper ticket just print at home on A4 paper, I get your point here though.

I kept all the 19 away tickets from our premier league winning season, I won’t bin those but for the rest and the future it doesn’t bother me.
