I don't want someone to come in who needs time to assess the squad or acclimatise to the Championship. I want someone who knows our squad already and knows what is needed to get us promoted and is capable of resetting the club, has an established backroom staff ready to go and is confident and controlling enough to takeover much of the decisions from Top and Rudkin. I'd say there are a few out there that offer that, but they are the names that some bulk at in favour of someone abroad, such as Dyche or Martin. I don't think we would get as lucky again if we went a Maresca type route. RVN was a wildcard in that sense and it has been a disaster. I think we need a Pearson style appointment aka an arrogant so and so who will not take any crap from the players or the DOF, and someone with the dreaded word "experience"...

Didn’t realise he was leaving Sociedad at the end of the season. Definitely we should be looking at him. Can’t see it happening though.

Had only just seen it myself

No chance he drops a division, more chance of Ange, but will dream.

Neither will happen. I just wish we would at least look abroad. There will be better options abroad especially when the season ends.

Can see them retaining Ruud tbh. If they were any closer to showing him the door, it would have long happened by now. Let's just hope Championship is his level

i want someone who wants to bring in 5 or 6 different players and knows who they are. Not someone who thinks the squad is OK.

Ward, Vestergaard, Faes, Kristiansen, Iversen, Choudhury, Soumare, Daka, Winks, Ndidi, Coady can all get in the sea. Don't care what money comes in, there's hardly any un amortized value left in any of them anyway - and they are proven to have shit the bed on way too many occasions.

Stolarzcyk, Justin, Ricardo, Nelson, Okoli, Thomas, Mavididi, Fatawu, El Khannous, McAteer, Skipp, Alves, Cartwright, Monga, Evans have to form the remainder of our squad with 5 or 6 added to provide a more experienced backbone

Mitrovic is on the way out of Saudi. I'd get him in and promise him it'll be raining crosses from Mavididi and Fatawu so he can get 40 goals like he did at Fulham.

Cullen and Brownhill have taken Burnley up but aren't prem players so i'd offer them something.

Josh Sargent is a livewire who should jump at the chance to join Leicester

Jonathan Rowe looked great but has stalled at Marseille. I'd get him back to the champo.

His stint at PSV would suggest so, but still a gamble really and one we cannot afford in our predicament. He has to be sacked.

All things  point to him staying.

Was having a meal in my local on Sunday after the game with 2 dutch guys. Seemed very down and genuinely gutted. Gaffer had a good half hour chat with him and his intention is to stay. Top needs to come out and physically back him if this is the case. Board then need to distance themselves from the players and let RVN sort the total mess out, getting rid of the bad eggs ie  winks and Vesty. Whether he does that remains to be seen. JV was and currently is the main man down there so be interesting to see the dynamics next season.

I doubt they want any more psr losses this year. So might drag on until after this years books close.

End of June, far to late to be sorting a manager out.

This change in acconting period, how often can you do it?

Just thinking if we keep yo-yoing do we not have to keep switching it back/then forwards to avoid being in one particular league at a time?

And if that is the case and we switch back to 30th May, perhaps that's when he leaves?

Correct but rule nothing out with our incompetent leadership team

**** knows - I was anyone but Cooper but then we got RVFN so this one needs to be properly thought through

Dyce would do for me - I expect he'd build from the back which is what we need - I don't know much about football outside of LCFC mind

Not saying he'd be a "No More Mr Nice Guy" appointment but it will be interesting to see what happens to Daniel Farke at Leeds now. Might be a good fit for us, might not if he's harshly ousted from Elland Road.
