First team coach is about right for this stage of Andy King’s career. Look at Chris Davies was a first team coach for a while before getting his first managerial stint at Birmingham City.

We would be daft to appoint King as our first team manager now let him bide his time.

Yes and No.

Jack Wilshere for example has gone down the youth team management route U18 and now 23's and is being offered L1 first team jobs now.

There's loads of ways in, but perhaps as a club if we're wanting to keep him with us, moving up the ranks at youth level would have been ideal.

How do you know he is not a manager? That is my point, we don’t know. All I am saying is if Kingy was to appointed at least it would unite the club and fanbase. He is no more of a gamble than bringing in Dyche with a group of young academy prospects that he is highly likely to ignore.

Come on now lol

I'm no Dyche fan by a long stretch but how is appointing someone with 0 games as a manager "no more of a gamble" than someone who's managed 558 lol

I'm not sure they could have made this sentence any longer if they tried?

Leicester City Football Club and Ruud van Nistelrooy have mutually agreed that Ruud’s contract with the Club as First Team Manager will terminate with immediate effect.

Sheffield Wednesday’s Danny Röhl will emerge as a possible target, despite fears over the amount of compensation required if he remains at the rival Championship club. Sources have dismissed the prospect of former Everton and Burnley manager Sean Dyche taking charge.

Sounds like there’s absolutely zero planning which is very on brand.

Timing all seems very strange, if it was to do with Financial reasons why we have waited. Unless its taken this long to get him to agree to the terms.

It won't be King.

They might put him in 'charge' for the first week for conditioning with a few other coaches but it sure as shit isn't King, you wouldn't just let Brian Barry Murphy leave in that case.

Not sure, if true, whether he's not interested or we aren't but I'm not sure what job Dyche gets, I really think we are the best he'll get.
