There was nothing inherently wrong with Belvoir Drive and building Seagrave instead of extending the stadium looks an error in retrospect.

We have, however, started to see the fruits of the academy and that will be needed more than ever next season. If the EFL puts us under a transfer embargo and we're playing the likes of Stolarcyzk, Alves, Monga, Nelson and Braybrooke, it could be a blessing.

It actually did Chelsea the world of good a few years ago because it forced them to stop spending money on pony and develop their own youth.

Probably end up selling it to Forest and we will train on Vikkeh Park.

And if they don't buy it, Centre Parks will.

Nail on the head. I honestly think an embargo would be the best thing to happen to us next season if it forces us to look to the academy. Even the most ardent happy-clapper seems to now agree that the majority of our senior squad don't deserve the shirt.

I'm particularly angry at Cooper for coming in with a supposed reputation for trusting young players, then proceeding to sign two donkeys due their bus passes and starving the academy of vital minutes.

We broke a streak stretching back a decade of always having at least one academy player in the matchday squad under Schteve. Makes the revisionism of his time here from gloating Forest fans and Media heads all the more infuriating.

The club are trying to sell Belvoir Drive but there’s covenants in place which means they probably won’t get what they would like for it.

Rudkin probably involved, he’ll let something run out and the land will go to the national trust for free 😂😂

No reason to suspect that this group of players wouldn't have progressed just the same at Belvoir Drive.

Seagrave is a massive White Elephant and the demise of the club can be traced back to its opening. It was Vichai's dream but King Power have failed on the rest.

It was fine when we won the FA Cup whilst being there.

Absolutely. It such a strange argument. It's not the facilities that are the fault, but the mentality of the players. If I had to go to work in the state of the art offices it would motivate me more than having to work in a run down, cold unpleasant environment. There no reason if a coach wants to toughen players up mentally and physically he couldn't get them on a coach, take them to Bradgate Park and give them the Jock Wallace treatment. They might appreciate Seagrave more, then.

Love the sentiment, speaks volumes as to where we are right now, we've gone from a summer of needing a left footed #8 and new striker, to sack the manager, to sack Rudkin, to sack Top, to the ultimate, sack the buidings.

I'd go further and sack RVN at the end of the season with King as his replacement. A team of academy products managed by an academy product who lives and breathes Leicester City could actually give us some faith that we're on our way back to why we had the funds to build Seagrave in the first place.

Sack RVN and install Kingy now.

No point pretending we can stay up, is there?

It just depends on what his contract is. If he has an automatic release clause upon relegation, which hasn't yet been mathematically confirmed, then it'll only add to the financial damage.

People saying shut Seagrave it’s rubbish and play the young players who are excellent. Priceless

What is the point of Seagrave if those youth players don't play for the first team?

Madness. Lose every game for the rest of the season and the majority of the fans turn on King. King isn't ready for the top job, he is more value for us long term if we let him learn the job properly he could develop into a great coach for us.

This as well.

Get rid of RVN once the season is over, give King a chance to put together the squad over the summer and hit the ground running with young and hungry players in the Championship.

Seagrave is not wanted now: our time there is done,

Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;

Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;

For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Forest fans are overly defensive of his time with us because they view him like a god for getting them a promotion after 25 years of absolute shit. They even put him alongside Brian Clough on tifos ffs. That supposedly huge club.

They don't want to admit he's just a limited championship manager. That would be admitting they've had absolutely no history for 40 years.

I value the opinion of Forest fans about as much as a jalfrezi enema.

They should know how shit he is. They sacked him too.

He wouldn't have been any worse than RvN but based on his limited time here, I highly doubt he would have done any better.
