Isn't "Rotten from TOP to bottom" even more crass and provocative? It's calling out Top as an individual and using more confrontational language.

What does that mean though? It's gives the club leeway to shuffle things about a bit and sell it as change.

The club has always been badly ran since they took over.

 

Anything good was put in place by Pearson and refreshed by Puel, since Puel left its gone down hill consistently. 

 

We need to stop believing this was anything to do with a corrupt bunch who got successful in Thailand by backhanding the authorities. They have NO idea how to run a business in a free market country. 

King Power has undeniably bankrolled the most successful period in Leicester City history.

I am firmly of the opinion that Top and the circus surrounding him should depart, taking his inept and incompetent board of directors with him. However, while luck played a significant part in that period of success, it wasn’t solely down to luck. The abject failures at every level pre and post-FA Cup victory amplify the reasons Top should sell up, but we must also acknowledge the amazing success achieved under their leadership despite the multiple flaws in which the way the club is now run.

I’ve got someone in front of me in the stadium that said something like this at the weekend.

 

In response to a bad pass “it’s all Rudkin, blame Rudkin” followed about 2 seconds later by “Patson Daka is absolutely shit, why is he still here” thinking that the 2 things are completely unrelated. I can’t be arsed with an argument so I bit my tongue but some people are on another planet.

The steadfast KPFC (mostly on facebook) lot are low-information, passive fans generally. They don't follow football writ large, they don't know what directors of football are supposed to do, what going rates are for players etc, why we can't shift the crap. They're bowled over by free doughnuts etc because it's something tangible whereas the behind the scenes stuff is gobbledegook.

 

Vichai's death means KP and Top should just never be questioned in their eyes. So that lot have to be ignored because they have nothing constructive to say about our ownership, just emotional whataboutery.

Exactly! I mean yes, it’s not Rudkin’s fault if some players aren’t performing of in the case of someone like Daka, never hit the expectations had of him.

 

It is his fault that they subsequently can’t be shifted on due to said bloody stupid contracts.

Thought I'd also add what I can bring to the party. 

 

I'm a digital media buyer, so part of what I do is Facebook and Instagram ads. I can also buy digital billboards but that would be more expensive and less targeted.

 

How about targeting people on Facebook and Instagram in and around the stadium whose phone language settings are set to Thai?

 

Closest you can target is a 1 mile radius of the stadium, so we'll get some wastage. But still pretty targeted for match days given the Thai language targeting. It's estimating a reach of 346 - 498 per day. 

 

Costs vary significantly but you can typically expect to pay around £5 cpm (per 1,000 views of the ad) for something this targeted. So we can probably do this at around a fiver a game assuming a frequency of around 2 ads per person.

 

What message would we want to get across to Top and his peers?

 

Happy to pay for the ads out of my own pocket if indeed it is as cheap as that. 

 

If someone handy with Photoshop wants to provide the ads I'm happy to run them. Or even better, video ads.

There is however a site in the road leading up to the Suvarnabhumi airport. That could be interesting 👀

Top is part of the problem and while he has the power to sack Rudkin and Whelan he should also be looking to sell, he’s so out of his depth.
