Should start selling/ buying now. Deals don't take effect till end/start of season. Definitely going down. Transfer embargo. I know who I like to see gone, most of the team. Start rebuild now.

If we sell now, then we have to pay loyalty bonuses.

 

If players ask for a transfer, we don’t. 
 

That bill, will run into millions.

 

This is why clubs wait.

We’re not getting a transfer embargo. However, if we can start getting agreements in place to start the summer sell-off now, I’m all for it.

My understanding of a transfer embargo isn't that we CAN'T sign player. If the EFL place an embargo on us, it means we can't REGISTER them so we can sign as many as we want but we can't play them...

We have over paid players on either long contracts or ones so short no one else will bother with them, agents must love the way this club is run.

Makes me wonder what manager would come here if RVN was to walk come  the end of the season unless they wanted a quick pay check.

to be fair Soumare has at least shown he has a pulse at times this season. We will get an offer for him, but the vultures will be circling and will know we need to offload to lower our wage bill and get some cash. £5m max for him.

Are we embargoed on Edouard??  Did we decide to have a trial this season with him?

Mads won't go for that much. No one is paying that for a relegated keeper. 

 

No one will want vesy, ayew, BDR, Daka.

 

Faes we could get £10m from a European side and ndidi for £20m might be pushing it, but can see him going.

Daka we would be lucky to get a million for. Soumare 3-6 million, BDR free, Ayew couple million, Ndidi 3-6 million, JJ 10 million, vesty 2-3 million, Faes 5-10 million, Mads 10-20 million.

The quoted figures are what Rudkin does and as such can never sell anyone.

I would keep Ayew providing he doesnt push for a move, as strikers are the hardest to buy, and his resale value is poor, plus wages not particularly high.  Rest is fair game, but we deffo wont sell them all, Rudkin simply isnt capable, and I am not sure Top realises the size of the clearout needed.

It will be hard to get a quality manager in, so either a veteran like warnock or lower league who will find us too enticing.  I expect anyone upcoming and half decent will see Rudkin/Top as toxic to work with.

 

I would also tell whoever the new manager is at least 4 named squad members are to come from youth setup, otherwise whats the point of it all.

Love the optimism but in reality I think it would be at most:

 

- £30m for Mads

- £12m for Ndidi 

- £8m for Soumare

 

The rest we'll be lucky to shift on their wages, so it'll probably be they stay or get loans.

 

The other sellable assets are probably Bilal (25m) and Kristiansen (10m). Maybe somebody would take a chance on Fatawu but coming off a big injury I'd be surprised.

Ndidi's relegation release clause will be interesting. Kristiansen I'd look at selling. Daka/Soumare/Faes/Vestergaard/BDR need to be sold ASAP. Perhaps let Ayew go on loan for remainder of his contract which runs out at end of next season.
