Where's the evidence that Wilder is not nice, nasty etc?

Heard such things here and there.

He looks like a ham sandwich.

I mean he was going round pubs in Sheffield singing Uniteds chant about Danny Rohl after the derby last year

Not exactly classy

Can he cut the mustard, though?..

You’re not allowed to get involved in humour, Captain Harbinger of Doom!!!!

I made a tongue in cheek comment after he was sacked that wilder is the sought of appointment we would make and I got laughed out the forum. And rightly so. It was very wrong of me.

while his agent’s close ties with Leicester have boosted his chances.”

And there we have it. Same old same old.

They’d be the close ties that have now more or less been severed after the departure of Enzo, KDH and Vardy?

Id be surprised if John Morris was still being used by wasserman for the ones left (Thomas, Daka and Hamza) after the fallout last summer.

Alan Nixon is no more itk than me.

He gets the odd thing right very early over others. Ghezzal and Ayew he called all summer the years they signed. Ghezzal was a weird one as it's not something you'd think to make up 😂

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I don't see Wilder or Dyche unless we are about turning on wanting to play a possession based approach which we have had since Puel.

Wilder would be a lazy appointment. If there is no appointment this week I think there may be a rush appointment but would have thought, in that scenario, Carrick would better fit what Top wanted (Man City lite).

I’m really hoping they’re negotiating hard with Edin Terzic.

Wilder would be a disaster waiting to happen.

I see a slight chance we stick with Andy King, I really do.

They won't even know who that is, let's be honest.

Yes, we always hire with “UK experience” it would seem.

That's what they claim but it is actually their lack of footballing knowledge that is the problem. All the way through their ownership we have appointed obvious candidates, with Meresca the most out there appointment they've made.

The board have shown their lack of knowledge time and time again, but they have never learnt. Sad really

The struck gold with Maresca, it was a risk at the time.

Not that many managerial appointments aren’t, however Cooper was a far cry away from the style we’d transitioned to since Puel.

We’d have been better appointing RVN in the summer, rather than Cooper. At least he’d have been given a full backroom team and potential transfer spend. The reality is, we missed the boat twice and neither were ideal.

You would hope that it would register that picking the progressive option has massive upside potential.

Big week.
