Looks like Murillo out for them which will be a huge loss.

We need to sit in a low block and then go at them at pace when we win the ball. They looked vulnerable at times last night and I’m hoping their exerts have caught up with them

Their whole back 4 could be anonymous and we'd still struggle to score lol

Gave up hoping for anything from this fixture decades ago.

But what a time to get a result if we're ever going to do it - which we won't.

I'm the same ....I actually loath this fixture.

I think the owners stopped taking the fans seriously when they sold Knockaert and no riot ensued

The pedant in me makes me point out that he wasn't sold as he left on a free out of contract, excusing us from having to riot. :)

No chance we get past that back four.

Why are we going to Forest with any hope of taking anything? I have not seen anything to suggest that we can defend or score against anything but Southampton. Honestly, if I was a forest fan this would just about the ideal banker fixture!!!

We're going in with hope that we can ruin their European hopes. Dent their champions league aspirations and Vards will get the winner and his 200th goal and celebrate in front of their fans in the 96th minute

Reality - 3-0 forest. The truth sucks.

We could lend them Faes and we still won't score.

Blame Noottingham for everything

After the Match

At the Loughborough Assizes, Frank Ainsworth, a labourer from Kegworth, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of being drunk and disorderly in Kegworth on Saturday, March 27th 1897. Police Constable Hartshorne testified that he encountered the defendant in a highly intoxicated state in the Market Place around 10:15 PM, surrounded by a crowd. PC Hartshorne noted that Ainsworth appeared to have been involved in a fight. After being escorted home, Ainsworth was found shortly thereafter near his residence, again behaving aggressively. In his defence, Ainsworth stated he had attended a football match in Donington and consumed only two half-pints of beer there, followed by a bottle of hop bitter at the Three Cranes pub in Kegworth upon his return. He claimed that upon leaving the pub, two unknown young men inquired about lodgings from his sister and a young lady. When he intervened, one of the men struck him in the jaw. Ainsworth maintained he was not intoxicated. Eliza Wakefield corroborated his account of the assault. The strangers reportedly stated they were from Nottingham. The Bench ultimately found Ainsworth guilty and imposed a fine of five shillings.

Stopping them winning would be massive for us. Us fans have suffered this season, it would give us a small positive towards the end of the season.

Its a big stage to perform on and all of our players are playing for their future - either with us or somewhere else.

If Forest do win I hope we make them earn it. Us rolling over and getting battered would be absolutely miserable.

Not really, however, they have not performed on any stage of any size

Due to the champions league race there will be a lot watching. Players should be looking to impress either our new manager (hopefully) or prospective buyers

I got the feeling that Mav was doing that against Liverpool. Best performance this season until he got crocked. Probably Bilal and Vards as well. Not sure if any of the others are that bothered given how financially well off and comfortable they are up at the Seagrave Country Club and Spa.

The difference between both clubs at the moment is monumental, which is a damning indictment of our downfall in recent years. In footballing terms, they've clearly been a very effective team this season with a style of play that suits their players. For the many of us who couldn't get a ticket for Bournemouth, this will be the last away game of the season so just got to hope we give a decent account of ourselves. The expectations for a fixture like this should never have got as low as they are.

Whilst this is all true, you need to remember to grateful because we were in league one once!

Wouldn't it be magic if he got the 200th Goal against them.

His celebration in front of the Forest fans would be epic.
