Has reliable source confirmed that RM is coming to us?

In the past, it’s not until the very last minute we get know who going to be our manager, that said, knowing our luck it’s going to RM

Got absolutely twatted by Enzo twice last season. Was outwitted by Cooper earlier this season. What the **** are Top and John thinking if they really are about to appoint him. Total madness

Chris Sutton quoted his 'sources' as confirming that Martin was being appointed. Probably the same sources that are all over socials that we all have access to. That said, probably straw clutching to think this might be nothing more than Chineese whispers. I reckon he'd going to Rangers and will be perfect in the SPL :fc:

Have been told it will be RM and with Mike Williamson as his assistant

Ughhh, that's oddly specific and from a new member...

Played together at Wycombe

Same. Looks like this is really happening.

One thing I will say, Williamson is a superb professional and a very experienced defender... might be the first rumblings of addressing his own floors?

I've had a rough day and now I find myself trying to justify the appointment of Mike Williamson lollol

Interesting assistant, he did really well at Gateshead and MK Don's.....it probably wont shock anyone that he also plays dogmatic, possession based football....didn't go down to well at Carlisle!

Pretty much still his team, though.

Yes I agree, but I wonder if RVN would use that excuse and say it was pretty much Cooper's squad for how poorly we've performed?

Well, I haven't heard Ivan Juric complain about the squad he inherited at Southampton, either.

To be honest, the writing was somewhat on the wall with us towards the end of the 2023/24 Championship season. Remember all those poor results (eight defeats during the second 23 games of the season), and how we limped over the finishing line?

Yes - won 5 out of 25 before being sacked. Also in his playing career, was accused of deliberately being sent off in a 3 - 0 defeat to Leicester by the then Newcastle manager John Carver.

Haha remember that one, he definitely wanted to get off the pitch, their players all getting absolute pelters. How times change 😢
