Add to that the source is a poor one.

Why would Jacobs tweet about such a nothing move unless he knows something ?

apart from he’s a fan - hardly anyone will be interested out there

He's tweeted lot of stuff before that's be wide off the mark.

Lets see we will soon find out.

Maybe we are not giving him a go because he's not signing a contract.

This is it plus Lazio aren't chucking him in the first team straight away. If he's not signing and to there's interest then it's over. We can't play him in case he gets injured.

Doesn't matter what the fans or manager want.

If he’s not going, we need to tie him to a new deal and invest in him as we’ve done with the other lads.

got bags of potential and we need to use him

Did say about Ben Jacob complete nobber

Really not sure how he’s managed to build so a big following.

I remember like 10 years ago he was basically just a fan who’d regurgitate transfer news

So damn pleased he’s not gone, get that contract pencilled up for him.

Only seen him a handful of times granted but was the best player on the pitch each time and was playing against lads a good couple of years older.

Don’t think he wants to sign a new contract with us, but if we give him some game time you never know

Leicester haven’t offered him one, he told me that himself

He’s regularly on national radio via talkSPORT

whether he knows stuff or not, he sounds like he does on there

if he was a total grifter with no contacts then they’d surely not employ him because he’d be wrong too often

I’m sure he is building contacts across clubs. Just as ornstein gets real stuff fed to him from the bigger clubs, in ten years that could be Jacobs.

If you believe anything Ben Jacobs says or tweets you believe in dragons, monsters and Big foot

He seemed to have Fernandez to Man City news pretty accurate yesterday

and then the Kamara deal details (before it fell through)

He definitely has a contact at Chelsea

(and prove that Bigfoot doesn’t exist!)

If Leicester have not offered him one, and there was a 1 mill offering from lazio. Either something is not being reported correctly (ie the offer from lazio or the contract) or Leicester are now going to offer him one? Why would they not accept an offer and just lose him on free?

Obviously they're going to offer him one, he scores for fun and is an England youth international. Whether he accepts is another matter, we've clearly gambled the money on offer now, which is the right decision.

He signed a professional contract with us in the summer of 2025. Usually first pro deals are 3 years until players are 18 or over and they may then sign longer deals.

So likely out of contract in 2028?
