For purely selfish reasons I'd like our Ipswich and Norwich away games to be 3 O'Clock Saturdays but more likely Ipswich will be Boxing Day or moved for TV.

Speaking of TV, I found this interesting - https://www.efl.com/how-to-watch/tv-game-selection-process/  apart from the final weeks of the season, the picks will be made with particularly long (up to 5 months) notice instead of the previous 5 weeks, making it a lot less stressful planning trains etc. I'm all for that, well done to any parties who put pressure on to see this happen :appl:.

I suppose one area of interest may be the games within the AFCON dates, hopefully not too many of the tougher fixtures in that period please :dunno:.

And uncle Charlie from acme Shop Front Shutter Hire wants to know when Millwall are coming to town.

The EFL is better for notice but gets absolutely stupid at the end of the season with late changes.

Im sure there are individuals on here who will take great delight in that happening.

You'd be right.

I'd obviously be devasted.. but with how hard we've fallen under Tops stewardship I also wouldn't be slightly surprised

That's pretty decent to be fair.

AFCON is basically mid-Dec to mid Jan if any team makes it to the final.

We'd lose Fatawu and Ayew.

And El Khannous if he's still with us.

Ghana didn't qualify, did they?

They did not. As far as I can see the players likely to be there are El Khannouss, Daka, Ndidi and Coulibaly, none of whom I would be at all surprised to see leave before then anyway. Okoli I believe is eligible for Nigeria and though he was called up by Italy he hasn't made his senior debut, so I guess theoretically he could switch allegiance in time?

According to the Guardian every team are on Sky first game of the season.

Sky Sports+ service. Pretty much like 22/23, majority of games were on there.

We'll get something relatively interesting on the opening day for sure. I'm sure they've as much as admitted it's rigged for quite an interesting set of fixtures due to it being a week before the Premier League and all eyes on it. So I'd say we're almost certainly going to be on TV first weekend. I'll say Derby away.

Leicester Wrexham is the biggest game in the division for neutrals watching. Really wouldn’t be surprised if we were away there first

What about Wrexham Vs Birmingham. Sky was acting like it was a derby last time they played lol

I feel like it's 'too' obvious to give us Wrexham and that they're using up two in one there.

Reckon it'll be something like Derby v Leicester, Wrexham v Coventry, Birmingham v Southampton or Ipswich.

Who do we think will give their opinion on our fixtures?

- Former player

- Random first team player

- Andy King

- Rudkin

- Birch

- Filbert

Sheff Utd away. Mads has been sold by new manager Craig Levein, Jakub is sent off first half and is replaced off the bench by new back up keeper Rab Douglas. 4-1 loss.
