What a crap season. Can’t even win when it comes to the PL relegation race. One space left and I want all 3 to go down. Shittest season ever

Can hope for a miraculous Wolves escape :sweating:

I was going to ask if St Totteringham's Day has happened yet... It happened last week. Quite possibly the earliest one ever. 😂

The one we shared with Arsenal on the final day of the title win season was quite fun, won't lie.

It happened 1st March, previous earliest one was 9th March.

I had quick look at Spurs remaining fixtures and they don’t make good reading for them.  They still have to go to away to Liverpool, Villa, Chelsea, Sunderland and Wolves.  At the moment they look done to me and Tudor doesn’t look like the sort of manager to turn it around.

Get them down. Would be incredible to see some of the teams at this level go there for a league game.

.......They could be hosting Lincoln City !

Wasn’t Tony Pulis one of those managers who  called for technology and didn’t accept decisions going against his team regularly claiming they were being hard done by v big teams?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cp8r730n30po

Now calling for VAR to go and for decisions to just be accepted on the pitch .

VAR  has got out of hand and  been used too subjectively.

They really didn’t think about how football decisions can be so divided between every ref and VAR.

Just thought well rugby and cricket use technology  for very black and white decisions so would  work in football for subjective ones .

In an ideal world both Tottenham and West Ham come down. The PSR requirements for both clubs would be enormous and it might bring about a rule change that benefits us.

Nahhhh, Spurs and Forest please

I've seen this on some thread or another which did make me laugh.

Other Championship teams on their first visit to the Spur's ground:

I remember watching them on "Star Soccer", in season 75-76 I think, the last time they were in the 2nd division, play at Mansfield (available on Youtube 😃)

Former manager and player Glenn Hoddle has offered to ensure Tottenham avoid relegation should interim boss Igor Tudor be sacked after losing his opening three games. (Mail)

Now that Tudor has destroyed his young backup keeper ... I am desperate for Vicario to get red carded in Spurs next match.

That might be the Spursiest thing of all time.

Tudor didn't destroy Kinsky and it's again the same media creating a certain narrative for their sheep as they always do for years now. I was the first one here pointing out who is Tudor when he was appointed by Spurs. The guy doesn't have a clue about managing a team, he has no clue about tactics.

But now Tudor is getting destroyed for what? Kinsky is the backup keeper of the team and before yesterday the fans and the same media were roasting Vicario and they were demanding Kinsky to be a starter.

Kinsky was subbed out to be protected. He failed in his role as a high paid professional football player in this certain game. This is why he was rightfully subbed. The manager had more important things to do at the moment than babysitting this millionaire wannabe goalkeeper.

And now some fans and media are offended on behalf of this millionaire. Oh poor Kinsky... What a joke.

Get a clue.

Tudor takes a very young backup keeper in who hasn't got a single minute of PL or FA Cup match time this season, and by all reports, wasn't tearing it up in training.

Puts him in at the Metropolitano in an Champions League elimination round match, behind a pathetic defense, against an in-form European giant.  The kid (shocker) is unready and makes a couple of bad mistakes.  So what does Tudor do?  Not only subs him immediately, but shuns him as he comes off.

Spurs paid over 10M for a promising baby GK.  A drowning manager in miles over his head, who won't last two more games, just took that investment down with him for no defensible reason, by taking his own indefensible decision and making it worse.

He claimed in his presser to be protecting the kid, when the whole world clearly saw the opposite.  As as bad as man management gets.  Pathetic!

I just don't get this let's feel sorry for a young kid goalkeeper nonsense.  He is a highly paid professional footballer.  It's his job to be a goalkeeper, he failed miserably at it.  In any other job you would be fired for putting in that sort of display at work.

He, needs to learn from it and move on.  (perhaps consider another career).

It's no ones fault but his own.

We live in such a fragile world now you get frowned upon for stating the truth or the blindingly obvious.
