Having not watched a single game of this last season, I assume this means that the group games only consist of National League vs U21 teams, meaning that U21s never face another U21 side and, likewise, National League sides never face another National League side - until the knockout stages, of course.

 

With all National League sides playing at home, this also guarantees a four-game group stage even though there are eight teams per group because there are no 'return fixtures'.

 

I think that's right based on how it's described on the website.

I think that's right based on how it's described on the website.

I think this is more looked down on than the EFL Trophy. Multiple teams have refused to enter. And I believe so Leeds U21 won this last year.

Will you be broadcasting free om YouTube the U21 matches this season like you used to do and if not why not?

Thank you for your email, I have contacted our Production team who have confirmed that unfortunately they won't be broadcasting the under 21's games on You Tube.

As interesting as this is and would be great experience for the lad, I can't tell if you've copied a tweet with the word exclusive in or you've added it in yourself lol

Braybrooke and Golding not being in Austria says that they won’t be involved in the first team squad or we didn’t have enough room at the camp for them and all the deadwood we’re trying to shift (but can’t afford not to take them re transfer valuations)

They’ll be going out on loan, I’d imagine
