Notts County vs Chesterfield play off semi's would be epic. Would probably do the home and away!

It's a shame we're away again in the first play off, think it was the same last year and we lost so no other chances to see the 21's.

Hopefully get through and get a tie at seagrave or maybe let them use the KP.

I worked out earlier this week the following

Monga has two assists and Mavididi has one. The latter has played significantly more time on the pitch. Monga has played 9 games to Mavididi’s 27 (90 minutes).

Page only has one assist but this comparable players are Skipp (0), Winks(2), James (4), Reid (2). Again their playing time outweighs Page’s. Page with just 5 games compared to Skipp 27, Winks 22, James 25, Reid 17.

Be nice to see a competitive game at the KP.

Grimsby fans were raving about Braybrooke the other day. At this rate we might need to be concerned that a championship or SPL club will send us an offer we can't turn down in the summer and snap him up.

This is genuine risk

Horrible to say and I really hope it doesn't happen but I'm fully prepared for Braybrooke to pick up an injury in pre-season, just as we are getting excited for him to star for us

Braybrooke will be the main player for us in league one, I can feel it

Would love him to succeed for us. I think some of our fans will be on him quite quickly if he struggles though. But there is no reason why next season cant be the year he breaks through for us.

That always happens. Even this season you have fans saying the youngsters failed to deliver this season so why should we build around them in league one.

As if any of them had been played regularly enough to fail. Only Ben Nelson has had enough minutes to be judged on and we're no better defensively with Vestergaard and Lascelles.

Im glad Vestergaard got to play against Swansea. Everyone needed reminding just how sh1te he is. Cannot believe he is contracted for another year. A complete disgrace.

I truly believe he’ll go onto realise his pre injury potential, looks a cut above

McSweeney ‘Really Pleased’ With Leeds Triumph

Leon McSweeney believes our Under-21s were rewarded for a high level of performance produced during the 3-2 success over Leeds United on Monday.
Leicester City’s Development Squad defeated Leeds United 3-2 in Premier League 2
Louis Page and Kirsten Otchere (2) were on the scoresheet at LNER Community Stadium
Coach Leon McSweeney assessed Monday night’s success which ended the regular season
He is now looking forward to seeing the lads challenge themselves in the play-offs once more
Recovering from a goal down, an outstanding Louis Page strike saw the young Foxes back on level terms, before Kirsten Otchere’s well-taken double, the second of which came in stoppage-time to clinch victory. That success saw Leicester conclude the regular Premier League 2 season on a winning note.
“It was a lovely way to finish the normal league campaign,” the coach commented following victory at LNER Community Stadium. “The season is still going, thankfully. To win it at the last, in the manner we did as well, was a real pleasing moment for the guys.
“It was a really tough game. I thought it was full of energy, full of intensity from both sides, a bit frantic at times. We showed really good control at times, with and without the ball, and then we were just guilty of conceding moments out of nothing.

Daka would put the 2nd one wide aswell

Only James (not our player) would score the first one. Daka wouldn't finish the second one and Ayew wouldn't have kept up with play to have it passed to him. Daka might have been there for the third but Ayew wouldn't for the same reason as the second.

Does anyone know the implications for the academy team if we are relegated?

thought I remembered it at one time meaning the u21s get effectively relegated or am I being an idiot?

I think being in PL2 is based on being a category 1 academy

Reading are the only league one side with a cat 1 academy and are in PL2

Still can not wrap my head around Braybrooke not even getting a sniff during pre season. May be raw but we have even played BDCR in central midfield this season, surely was worth giving him actual minutes and seeing what he has

I watched all the preseason games - he looked way off it. Im grateful he got that loan though - its what he needed.

I’m pretty sure he didn’t play at all in preseason, just went back through the line ups and not seeing him having played a minute, also recall being disappointed he didn’t
