Exactly, we struggle to sell average players to middle clubs and it was documented as being especially hard in covid

Yeah but we needed to maintain the one big departure in the summer pattern. We didn’t

Haven't some reputable outlets gone on record to say we have been meeting potential investors in the last year or two? The issue is just how much Top and his family think they are owed for a large cut of the ownership or full sale.

It's a very unsettling period this is but of no surprise. So many mistakes now unravelling.

How long before we stop paying players and staff...

Probably not long. KP's thirst for hard cash is unquenchable. Evidenced by every single penny we are very due we are on the blower to Macquarie begging for the readies immediately and in doing so, losing 10% of its value.

The organisation may be asset rich. But definitely cash poor. And once those assets go....

Yes, but all Asian or Thai investors.

There are bigger things at play hereand I suspect the image and reputation of Thailand is the aspect that’s being prioritised at all times by all parties, not Leicester City.

If they don’t get the deal they’re asking for King Power will be no more.

thats pretty clear from reading the articles (not the Sun one).

They surely have no option but to sell the club for me.

Even if they get a deal, the chances of them getting a contract renewal must be incredibly slim

The Thai establishment isn’t going to let one company essentially bankrupt its national infrastructure

With the developing news of KP's financial problems, you might think (if there is any credence in the Thai investment talk) we would be hearing more definite talk of someone coming in as a co-owner / buying a controlling stake.........maybe after July 1st?

Power play might be in the offing.

I wouldn’t have thought the PSR thing would impact an investor or buyer

And Vichai (as well as his staff and crew) didn't???

He gave his life for our club.

Whatever we may feel about King Power, that should NEVER be forgotten.

Quite impressive how consistently you offer up odd takes on such a wide variety of topics. Hope for your sake you're on the wind up.

It needs moving though, to the garden..

A club owner died at the stadium in dramatic and upsetting circumstances. It may sound insensitive, but that shouldn't be a Munich or Hillsborough level memorial. They were young players and fans who all died 'in the line of duty'.

I didn’t say it didn’t need moving…my response was to pulling it down!

Read that Kingpower's yearly revenue to June 2025 is $500 billion, that's quite a lot from several duty free stores and afew stores in shopping malls and an online store.

Dunno if that includes the football club but I reckon it does

Wherever you’ve read that they have got it wrong. That’s group annual turnover of Walmart!!! I’d suggest they meant million not billion, or that it was in Baht not $

We aren't owned.by KP, we are owned by Top.

If top's management of kp is anything like his performance at lcfc.... then kp are in big trouble.  They have bought an adult in... but it may be too late.  Astonishing that rudkin couldn't have advised top better in how to run a monopoly duty free empire.
