I doubt any of us knows women's football/Swedish football enough to know how good a penalty taker the GK was to know if she was just after her name in lights

Who gives a fuk, the girls are through, well done. Most entertaining game I've seen all season. Screamed the house down when we won. THATS why I love football. Stuff all the diving cheating PL players, the ladies do it for me. Proper footy, played by proper players. Can we sign Lucy Bronze for the men's team? What a player.

Yeah sure. At least 3 pens saved had the goalkeepers off the line with both feet. The ones that weren't saved, went into stratosphere and the balls are now found in Basel had also the goalkeepers way off the line.

You do know that you don’t have to be touching the line, just have to have a body part at least level with it, don’t you?

You can go back and rewatch on iPlayer - keepers had one foot on the line for literally all the penalties. It's fine to admit you were wrong and probably a better idea than doubling down when the evidence is so readily available

Pleased for Hannah Hampton as well. Feel like there's been so much pressure and some resentment towards her not being Earps, which is obviously unfair.

Seems like the more experienced less flashy girls took better ones ?

Fortunately Sweden managed to get worse and worse !!

We looked dead on our feet tbh and Carter the slowest footballer ever .

Subs made a big difference.

Warrior women! Fight, grit, heart....they gave everything and did not stop! Lucy Bronze take a bow! Beast mode penalty, taping her own leg up....a lot of the PL could look at these ladies and learn a lot!
