Why does the German keeper keep going the same way to her left? Missed every one.

Saves that one !

Also took a great penalty too .

Well played Germany in the circumstances.

Excellent rearguard action .

Wow. It's not often the goalie gets player of the match but if Berger doesn't get it there's been a gross miscarriage of justice!!

Apparently Jess Carter has been receiving racist abuse on social media, absolute shocking if true. I understand Jess has under performed this tournament but no one deserves to get any sort of racism threw at them. Times like this you can see why players don't want to represent us.

Similar to their men's team, I think they are in a bit of a lull compared to their previous squads.

Also, missing Oberdorf doesn't help.

Germany seem to be going weak phase in football both mens and womens teams are having quite low period by their standards. Got through last night to their credit even up against the wall, however Spain will be different class in the semis.

Yeah, definitely. It's disgusting. Still plenty of degenerates in this country, sadly.

You never know where the abuse comes from though, it was shown a lot comes from outside the country.  This the problem with social media, morons can be hiding anywhere.

Surely it's not beyond the platform owners to identify where this shite is coming from. I was actually surprised how much came from the UK after the mens 2020 Euros.

Data from the UK Football Policing Unit found that of 207 social media posts deemed to be criminal, 34 came from accounts in Britain and 123 in other countries.

Well i guess it was after england lost then its more likely to be from disgruntled england fans.  The fact is though that the vast majority of abuse didn't come from within the UK.

Makes you think if it's from outside the UK, is it other nations trying to make England look bad and perhaps try turn players against their country. Just a theory I suppose. Be interesting to know if other national teams can this same issue or is it just swept under the carpet, whilst England do highlight the problem want it to be addressed.

Yes it’s true racism isn’t taken as seriously elsewhere unfortunately.
