I always thought players should play themselves into the team rather than reverting to plan A every game in a tournament, manager has got the selection wrong.

Spain really have taken women's football to another level over the last generation. Rest of the world need to catch up a bit. Against anyone else England look phenomenal, this is like watching pros play amateurs. 

 

Some of Spain's attacking patterns are terrific. The goal was class.

Terrible defending by Bronze, caught ball watching. Has looked off the pace throughout the whole tournament. 

 

Goes to show though that you have to take your chances at the very highest level. England have had at least 3 very good ones which they've squandered. Spain have their first real chance and make England pay.

James shouldn’t have started if she wasn’t 100% fit you can’t start players that can’t give every thing in a final

James is in fact having to track back and has done more defending than she should. Twice she's snuffed out an attack and ushered the ball out of play down the left side.
