I can actually see Marti’s thinking with this line-up. 
 

Vestergaard as the passing CB, Okoli as the athletic CB. 

 

Skipp and Soumare even though I’m not keen, balance wise is about the best we can hope for atm, but CM needs addressing badly. 
 

Fatawu and Mavididi with their 1 vs 1 ability on the wings :wub:

 

New striker of course needed, but Ayew’s hold up and link up play has been better than Daka in pre season, so I’m content with his selection. 
 

Good line-up in some areas, meh in others.

Still think this has little bearing on next week's line up, if it did you wouldn't play Mads.

 

Think some of these are the one he want to have another look at.

 

I think you see a lot of changes.

this, thomas, vesty, soumare are ones that he would want to have a look at rather than being first choice
