Everton have only turned their attention to Fatawu since having their offers for Dibling knocked back.  Given we should be asking for at least what Dibling is valued at by Saints, this is a total non-starter.

Not where Rudders is concerned, we sold Hermansen for less than we thought.

Different situation altogether. We already had a keeper to replace Mads and keepers generally don't go for high fees. We needed some money in and Mads was the ideal one to sacrifice. We don't have a replacement for Fatawu. I'd be amazed if we sell him, unless it's an absolute monster bid.

Do not be surprised if Rudders surprises you :)

Nothing surprises me with this club anymore but if we do sell him (and it's not a huge fee), then it will show the club is fcked financially and they are asset stripping

Thank God ! Hopefully we’re near the end of this absolute sh**show I’m not religious but I hope and pray we are.
Sell up and go and we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief that this idiot has finally gone !!

You can go & play as much Polo as you like then Son !

If we sold Fatawu even the KP FC / Happy Clappers might get slightly vexed.

Might.....

He'll just chuck a free donut/beer at them to get them back onside. Easily sorted.

If that is true and our answer was anything other than “he is not for sale” then god help us.  I’m not aware of any PSR benefit of selling now over next Summer and he might be the difference between top 6 and not. EK is different if someone triggers the release clause.

The wording upsets me. We should be straight up saying absolutely no

We're not in a position to say no, especially if they offer big money

think the club is going by, every player has their price, and we've put a massive figure on Fats

makes no odds imo, its pretty average imo

We aren’t in a position where we are able to say no to a valuation that will meet what we want sadly. But due to recent sales, probably just about in a position enough to not be lowballed. I think luckily for us our valuation of Fatawu will put a lot of teams off.

it will, because it will be over £50mil at least I'd say

Dibling has always been their number 1 target, they are looking around and testing water on "alternatives"

the over reaction to this news is kinda baffling

That’s good about Abdul but not so good regarding Bilal. Let’s keep moving that price tag higher for Abdulas we are unfortunately hamstrung by Bilals release clause.

Like i said earlier, there is zero chance Everton could afford Fatawu. It's like me going in a Ferrari garage. I really want one, they look amazing but sadly i fall very short of the valuation.

"Can we get Fatawu for £20m?"

Can I get a Ferrari for £20k?

Of course he will be sold, really not sure why espme people have been suggesting he might stay. He will go and it will be for under his value. Nothing has changed.

And that how you soften the Bilal exit

Monitoring Bilal - surely if they really keen someone would have taken a chance on him by now, especially if his release runs out on Friday

We are still in the Mexican stand off phase, deal will be struck before the clause lapses I imagine.
