JimJams Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Everton have only turned their attention to Fatawu since having their offers for Dibling knocked back. Given we should be asking for at least what Dibling is valued at by Saints, this is a total non-starter. 4

We already had a keeper to replace Mads and keepers generally don't go for high fees. We needed some money in and Mads was the ideal one to sacrifice. We don't have a replacement for Fatawu. I'd be amazed if we sell him, unless it's an absolute monster bid.

Hopefully we’re near the end of this absolute sh**show I’m not religious but I hope and pray we are. Sell up and go and we can all breathe a huge sigh of relief that this idiot has finally gone !! You can go & play as much Polo as you like then Son ! Edited 12 August 2025 by Spanner73
Brizzle Fox Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 If we sold Fatawu even the KP FC / Happy Clappers might get slightly vexed. Might.....

UniFox21 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 The wording upsets me. We should be straight up saying absolutely no 1
Benji Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 If that is true and our answer was anything other than “he is not for sale” then god help us. I’m not aware of any PSR benefit of selling now over next Summer and he might be the difference between top 6 and not. EK is different if someone triggers the release clause.

LVFox Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Fatawu being sold or not is the true litmus test for how ****ed we are
Dr The Singh Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Can't sell both BEK and Fatts, thats just simple suicide.

Bert Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 We aren’t in a position where we are able to say no to a valuation that will meet what we want sadly. But due to recent sales, probably just about in a position enough to not be lowballed. I think luckily for us our valuation of Fatawu will put a lot of teams off. 2
splinterdream Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 I guess its a fact of life that every player has a value to the club, for us though, we know any fee is likely to be wasted on crap players

MaidstoneFox Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Would be madness to sell him as he should increase in value, even though that's hard to predict.

jayfox26 Posted 12 August 2025 Posted 12 August 2025 Like i said earlier, there is zero chance Everton could afford Fatawu. It's like me going in a Ferrari garage. I really want one, they look amazing but sadly i fall very short of the valuation. "Can we get Fatawu for £20m?" Can I get a Ferrari for £20k? 1
