Exactly how I see it. Lots of teams fill our place but you hear nothing. Stoke didn't make a sound first half and they sold out. No different to when we criticise our own away support.

Yep, the english supporter culture has almost been killed off completely.

Don't disagree with you there bud

were in a dip and it's plain to see until we turn a corner it's going to be poor

perhaps some of our fans need a lean spell to realise how good the better times are again (if you know what I mean)

daft old cvnts like me know what it's like I've been going since 1979/80 season 😆

ah the days of Jock Wallace and standing in SK3, the buzz of climbing the stairs to the terraces and anticipating the game, great memories

This proves that you can never really get a decent grasp of the atmosphere due to the acoustics. I was next to Stoke fans and they were very loud and noisy, most of the game too.

If you're next to the opposition fans anywhere, and they make a bit of noise, it sounds loud. At any ground.

Yeah but it was pretty consistent too. To say they were quiet isn’t fair.

Tbf I did say "first half". Second half they improved but nothing special. From where I am, practically opposite, you wouldn't have thought they brought 3000. But as I agreed with earlier, it goes for a lot of fanbases now. Numbers are excellent but noise not so much.

what makes me chuckle is the football away days type social media content who send a pic of the away end full / non full and it says "3,000 stoke at leicester today " or "692 Blackburn at Leicester today". it's just people sat/stood in a stadium. whats with all the fawning over big allocations and large numbers travelling? it makes ZERO sense to me

Thats where we're different in England, we seem to be obsessed about numbers rather than atmosphere.

Arguably the best atmosphere I've been a part of was the Middlesbrough snow game. 8000 that really wanted to be there

Sat in Kop behind goal. Stoke fans were very loud, great support. We moaned a lot but then the referee did his best to get the home crowd going which livened things up eventually.

Does anyone else think that the home atmosphere this season has gone down a level, I always thought that bringing safe-standing in would improve the atmosphere but it hasn't.

Considering  all the furore  about safe standing and how it can help create an stmosphere6 its bee n a complete disaster.

Mind you the ️ doesnt help.

Last season is hard to comment atmosphere wise because it was so so bad for so long. But this season is absolutely dead.

It’s so ****ing loud as well. You feel like you’re about to die on Game of Thrones.

Drums along to every syllable of every chant.

I sit in SK3 and can hear the away fans if they are loud and consistent. Acoustics probably do play a part but I wouldn't overplay it.

One thing that doesn’t help is the lack of character in the ground. There’s minimal flags or anything. I’d encourage everyone to bring in their own flags and add a bit of character to it. I’m getting one to mark our ten year anniversary for the prem win.

We got the honesty flags which state " Foxes never quit" and " in it to win it" and " Back the lads" and " who let the dogs out"

My nephew (forest season ticket holder) has been to his first european games, and he was amazed at the noise the fans made, he said Porto fans were brilliant but it was danish side Midtjylland that blew him away, he said there were only a couple of hundred but they outsung the forest fans all night, bounced around all game, flares all game....even the youngsters now realise how bad things are here.

The rise of all these "away days" social media accounts haven't helped.
