Soumare is literally same shit different day. 

 

Man doesn't know what he's doing on or off the ball. Still as infuriating as ever. 

 

They seem to want it more and have the desire and urgency. Simple as that. 

 

We're tame, languid, lazy and slow. Relying on one or two players to do something. It's all well and good have BEK and Fatawu and Mavididi as part of an attack, but it means absolutely shit all with no help around them against a team now happy to sit back. 

Ayew has no one to play off when the ball is played into his feet. 

 

This could have been an 'easy' game but the application from the players has just made it unnecessarily harder. 

 

Get Soumare off, no need for 2 similar DMs anyway. 

 

Huge improvement needed not just this half but beyond. Can't play like this every week and expect results.

Totally uninspiring. Bet Wednesday were lapping that up. At 3.15 when squads were announced.

What in the name of sweet Jesus is this - I cannot believe how horrendous that 45 mins of football was - booing at half time wasn’t on my bingo card today but what a shambles we are are - long old season incoming - any gaffer worth his salt whips at least 3 of them off at half time

I'd argue we don't have any exceptional players this time round. Maybe BEK could be that player.

Winks for Skipp - at least Winks communicates. 
Nelson for Vesty - he’s feckin useless. 
Choudhury for Thomas - he can step up and allow Billy to play much further forward. 
No point changing Ayew yet.

I don’t think it’s been that bad, just needs a bit more co-ordination between runners in the final third.

 

A more dominant and powerful striker would also be beneficial because we get the ball into wide areas (and numbers in the box).

It is just so hard to shake off that losing habit. We basically will struggle in any game our wingers aren’t bang in it. Not really sure what’s happened to stephys ball carrying but it looks well off

Choudhury on for Soumare and then send the **** to the ****ing glue factory. 

Daka on for Ayew so there's at least some energy.

Give Monga some minutes.
