Marti could have learnt a lot last night.

Hamza can’t be trusted. One minute he’s making great tackles and scoring a worldie, next he’s giving away a daft penalty and not closing players down. He doesn’t have the brain to play at top level.

Nelson was very poor first half then improved in the 2nd. Nerves? If so he needs more work than we think.

Faes and Thomas played well. Whether we want to admit it or not Faes is our best centre back.

We need to sort Winks situation out. If he’s staying he will be integral to this team but if he wants out get him gone and work on a replacement. Disappointed that he didn’t put himself forward for a pen in the shootout.

Skipp and Soumare doesn’t work as a two. I would use Skipp as fresh legs to see games out purely in the 6 role. I actually thought Soumare did well last night, there were certainly players who played worse. I wonder if the hate towards him would go away even if he performed well consistently- my feeling is that many fans have made their minds up and nothing will change it.

Mcateer isn’t a winger- certainly not on the right. I would try to convert him as a 9. Got the attributes.

Mavididi looked sharp when he came on.Bilal looked like he was going through the motions. Same situation as Winks for me.

Monga and Page were class. They need minutes this season, both have a very bright future.

Alves needs a loan. Let’s see where he’s at when he’s had a full season under his belt.

Striker signing has to be a priority. Neither offer anywhere near enough. I would actually sign 2 and use Ayew in the 10 (either as a starter or sub).

Soumare has shown glimpses of quality but frankly these are very few and fair between, he has 1 good game in every 8/10 imo, i think people have seen enough and just want rid now, and Im one of them, as there are fair to many chancers and frankly wasteman within this squad, who put in the bare minimum each and every week

This won’t change until the infection is drawn out of the club. It’s an environment created by Top, he’s allowed the players to have too much power and created an un competitive , relaxed, pally environment. As well as ****ing up the finances.

Nothing will change and we will continue to decline until King Power have sold the club, and there’s a complete reset.

Horrible for fans to watch a bunch of twerps that clearly have 0 respect for where they’re playing and who for, apart from the obvious outliers

Probably the best thing to have happened at such an early stage to the season.

Certain players who are being picked based on perceived seniority / value /potential are quickly showing themselves up to be either not very good or worse could not give a crap.

Right now will take mid table, Marti is no fool by the look of it and will soon sideline players who are being dicks.

At some stage all of them were academy players and I guess they had more from their academy who collectively matched us.

What was more worrying is the attitude. I’d have to say that their players and subs wanted it more than ours and that’s where I am more disappointed in our professionals.

Same can be said on Sunday where it took us ages to get on top of a depleted team.

I don't agree with the comment about attitude or desire regarding any of our academy players, or senior players.

We led the game twice, we're coming off a disaster of a senior which has left mental scars, our dressing room doesn't look a happy place.

Wednesday was always going to be tough because there is a togetherness between fans and players.

Our fans have turned on the board, players basically everyone in the club.

Its going to be a hard season the squad isn't as good as under Enzo, I just hope we stick with the manager for minimum 2 seasons regardless of results, so he can build his own team.

A lot are correct that there are a number of players here which are toxic and what doesn't help is the owner in need of validation is quite pally with a number of them. Hence we have this scenario of them being overcompensated and taking any desire or hunger to work harder at LCFC.

Nelson was a bomb scare, and not sure why he was miles off it..a liability

He had a difficult first half for sure, but a lot of his defensive problems were caused by Choudary.

Disappointed to see kasey struggling at this level.  Whilst it’s clear he’s never going to be a prem  player, I hoped he’d do a job in the championship. Let’s hope it’s just a form and confidence issue.

Keep saying the defence has to be a solid unit ....  a keep changing / rotating is not good ... they need to protect the goalkeeper and have the whereabouts to know who will in position ... simple ... if you don't conceed goals ... you don't lose ... and the forwards can do their jobs ... in actual fact forget that last bit ... we ain't got any forwards have we Rudkin

He is not astute enough to have learnt ... he can be pally with them to a certain point .... but he is their boss and the owner of the club and he has to keep a distance from them ... sad to say but these pals are now taking the pi55 out of him by the performances on the pitch

Disappointing evening really. The senior pros - Hamza, Thomas, Skipp, Soumare all average at best.

Nelson really struggled. Alves anonymous. McAteer isn't a winger (or a very good footballer for that matter).

Again Winks the only one to show he's too good to play at this level but clearly has no interest in being here.

Page and some flashes of brilliance from Monga probably the only highlights.

As we all already knew, the squad needs a huge overhaul although looks like the only outings will be players we would prefer to keep. What a mess.

Exactly! Saved me typing my thoughts!

Collectively a bunch of wasters who, as a team, all have to take full responsibility, even the better performers on the day. They have to be rid of this comfortable bubble they occupy, along with the arrogance and complacency which pervade the whole club. We face Championship mid-table mediocrity for a long time to come.

Agreed but it is one poor game. I thought he looked decent in pre season. Inconsistency needs to improve but he does try. Not sure I could see him as a number 9 as some suggest. A number eight maybe or backup to Abdul.

Dear Players, JUST HIT THE ****ING THING!!!! WHy do you insist on walking up to the spot, stop, do a little shimmy and then attempt to pass the ball into the net. Your contracts should be terminated for doing this. Did Vardy do it? Dd Shearer do it? NOOOOOO!!!!!

Exactly this......why are they so stupid???

If they clattered Monga once more, after realising they couldn't handle him, I was going to call Childline.

LCFC's MOTM but he didn't have much to be compared to.

Dreadful game, Skipp and Soumare offer nothing. Kasey was awful for 90 minutes. Faes and Winks are interested in the fans.

I think those who expect us to walk this league are going to be very disappointed come May, we'll have done well to get play offs IMO.

We need to ship out about 8/9 players over the next 10 months, these parasites are earning a fortune and stinking the place out, we need a complete reset.

This is the stark reality that is dawning on many of us.

Agreed. Ability isn’t an issue. On paper, we’ve got one of the strongest teams in the league. But as Clough said, football isn’t played on paper.

The problem we’ve got is cultural. We are toxic, and that just won’t change until King Power are gone, and we have competent owners.

Reading, and Sheffield Wednesday should act as a warning sign for all of us, we need them out, it’s verging on no return already…..

Hopefully MC learns an awful lot from that performance or lack of.

Thought it was a big gamble when I saw the team sheet, too many changes, too much youth, and midfield donkeys/Daka.

Just to play devils advocate, why would the players want to put much effort in when all us fans did in the first half was sing songs for ex players, and none for any on the pitch

I can’t agree more. Yesterday’s game was a watershed moment for me. Everything good and bad about Leicester was laid bare before us. Senior players setting completely the wrong example to our emerging and talented young group of players - who needed them just to do their jobs. Choudhury as Captain is Cifuentes first mistake, I hope he corrects this. It’s not that he simply isn’t a good role model or leader, he really isn’t very good at football. How can younger players follow the lead of a guy who must have misplaced his first dozen or so passes. You then have Faes, Daka, Soumare and Skipp playing so badly how can we possibly expect players like Alves, Nelson, Monga and Page to thrive. Yesterday’s experiment failed miserably, I hope Marti saw that.

Man U fans used to do that all the time and I always felt it contributed to a divide between players and fans.
