Like she really had a say anyway !
I think she’s realised like the rest of us that she’s pissing in the wind trying to change the club for the better. She’s given up and who could blame her. We have 2 in charge that ultimately do whatever they want. If they were on board the titanic Top would do everything he could to distract everyone from the disaster taking place.

Don't disagree with you but if we have lost someone that never had a day anyway then it's no loss

And you really don’t get it the corrupt PSR rules prevent him dipping into his fortune to spend more money. The crooks at the EPL and EFL have conspired to end all ambition. If Top wanted to spend 500 million tomorrow he would be stopped as have many other owners. There is no competition anymore the big six have rigged it.

It hasn't stopped him from turning debt into equity to be fair. Surely that has come from his personal funds? He is still clueless and needs to sell up or appoint someone with competence to manage the day to day.

Clueless - Yes

Appoint Someone with competence ?
Not a chance !

The regime is a dominated closed book, everything is done in house under close scrutiny and under cloak & dagger. There’s no doubt that our club is dodgy

King Power have realised Top is an idiot and have appointed a new CEO. Unfortunately I dont think we're that lucky. Top along with his side kick Rudkin aren't going anywhere.

When you look at the general lack of signings this makes senselol

Really, you do know we are looking at a points deduction for overspending. Like everyone on here I have no idea if he wishes to spend his personnal wealth on this club, but even he wanted to he can't currently do that by spending on players.

That would've happened by now, you'd imagine - as the case, especially Man City's, is dragging on for too long now.

Absolutely but do you think he’s going to raid his personal investments to buy new players? If you look at the money that has been spent since he took over and in company with his sidekick Rodgers, the money spent on duff players has been raised by selling the good players bought before his stewardship.

When you are rich at the level Top is rich you either buy more assets or invest in the ones you already have.  Buying players would be the latter.

Ultimately she's been part of the board that have overseen two relegations in three years.

He's been here since last Wednesday, not sure it'll be for our benefit as flew to London rather than EMA, either way perhaps some more going on behind the scenes during the break.

I love the way so many people seem to know what goes on behind closed doors.

Everyone should chip in to buy the club for the fans and run the club as a committee. It would be hilarious.

Oh I don’t disagree with you there at all! The same even with the mega rich owners of Newcastle even!

However, I think the mantra from the start with the owners was to make the club self sufficient and I think that was a right and proper thing to aim for. With regards to just player purchase they had to a large extent cracked it too. If you look back over the years, on players, they’ve never thrown a lot of money at it because they’ve largely improved by buying cheap and selling high to finance it and they did it well.

However, under Top’s reign it’s failed because he changed the model! We’ve sold and bought very poorly until the golden goose is now all but cooked. Therefore, if in all these years they haven’t thrown money at players, notwithstanding par, even if he could, Top would be very unlikely to do so.

He can’t anyway because of psr but in the entire history of these owners, never have they thrown substantial funds at players. When the club was being properly run they didn’t have to, it was almost self funding through the sale of shrewd buying and selling. Super top and his incompetence put an end to all that.

yeah we'd be handing out mega wages and contracts to crap players, getting in trouble with PSR and getting relegated on a regular basis.

I would say he is anyway, we are losing close to the maximum every PSR period, over or under.  That is cash he is putting in, initially as loans then routinely converted to equity.

PSR isnt stopping him, there is multiple ways round it, but it is providing him a good excuse.  The stadium freeze isnt affected by PSR at all, yet its frozen.  The womens team is being run on a pound shop budget.  If we not promoted before parachute monies are gone, I think the Top worshippers are in for a shock.

Although the issue isnt really that we not spending large sums on players, but rather all the pay day loans for small sums because he cant plug cashflow issues, the majority I think want our squad spending to go down significantly, and the stadium situation.

The Top worshippers won’t see any shock they lick his ass whatever the circumstances, 300-350 M lost over 5 consecutive seasons and still the penny doesn’t drop, either with Top or his worshippers. They don’t see it and never will see it.

I wonder what packed lunch he brought as his first day as ceo. Might have got a clip on tie from the club shops he was all fingers and thumbs.

First port of call. The Google EBITDA.

Second item: reset password.

Third item: lunch.

Busy day for the little turnip.

There’s an awful lot I dislike about the bloke, but the fact he got his plane to fly from Stansted to EMA today to pick him up before flying home to Thailand really pissed me off lol

We don't need to know the details of what's happening indoors. We can see through the windows it's a shambles. I'd rather have a fans committee running it - just as long as the likes of Cliff the Worlds Biggest Leicester Fan stay away.

It’s the blind leading the blind. We’ve got no chance of new owners

In fairness to Top of went awry because we were really close to breaking that top 4 and he did the thing all football fans beg for, which was to take a risk and try to reach the unreachable. Obviously that meant we overextended by not selling that fateful summer and with PSR ramping up at a similar time it meant a bit of a gamble for the club. Let's face it, relegation was on nobody's lips at the start of that last Rodgers season, in fact Rodgers himself was the only person warning we hadn't done enough to refresh the squad, which hit hard combined with the earlier gamble. But who seriously wouldn't have wanted us to push that summer a few years ago, v when it really seemed we were on the edge of becoming a regular fixture in Europe. It's gone wrong, yes, but because of ambition and a chairman actually willing to take a risk. Id much rather that than what most other clubs have had.

Yes it’s as clear as day we’re a shambles we don’t need to work within its walls to see the chaos
