And he’s one of the more positive characters in the squad, so he’s likely being very diplomatic with his language. God only knows what they’re saying about us behind closed doors.

He's simply calling out the fickle nature of most football fans? Can't argue with that to be honest.

I'm the first to be critical of those types of fan, but at the minute I'm not quite sure what they expect?

This isn't a shit team that are giving their all and just falling short. I'm sure if it was then there wouldn't be this reaction from the fans. To see the same attitude for yet another season after years of the same, people are just deflated. There's nothing from some of that group. It's a genuine disgrace. We have become everything I used to laugh at other clubs for.

I personally don’t think the fans can be blamed for the attitude.

At the end of the day we’re the ones that spend our hard earned money and sacrifice our free time to travel up and down the country to support our club. Surely we get to have a say in the direction we want our club to go in?

It works both ways, we hold up our end of the bargain, all we want in return is a little bit of effort from the players/board etc.

So you can accept the fans being a bit pissed off when apart from Fatawu and Monga it is very clear that no one else can be arsed to break a sweat for 90 mins on a Saturday afternoon. Especially with the facilities and wages they have at their disposal.

Massive overreaction to a defeat.

Obvously loads of people expect us to piss the league again.

But it’s not just one defeat is it, we have had 12 months of absolute garbage.

It's nothing to do with the defeat all teams lose

Its the attitude of the players

Obviously loads of people expected a professional attitude from these players who proved last season what they're made of.

The ground has been half empty towards the end of games we're losing (even by 1) for years. Atnospheres are dead, home and away. He absolutely has a point, our fans are shite.

And therein lies the problem in a nutshell, the players just don’t get why we are so p***ed off, they are oblivious and just don’t recognise their half hearted lack of effort and commitment is at the root of the problem.

Therein lies half the problem.

The people who haven’t communicated with us over two relegations are still at the club.

The people who have made bad decision after bad decision are still at the club.

The people who selected our previous two managers who lasted 4 & 6 months are still at the club.

Why do the happy clappies think it’s going to change without a change of personnel :dunno:

I would not let the person / people who constructed the DeCordova-Reid, Vestergaard, Skipp, Ward, Soumare & others contracts set foot in the building ever again, let alone be involved in any future contract negotiations.

They’ve heard that we expect better communication yet still nothing worthwhile comes out of the club.

Not acting, not performing, not listening, this club barely has a pulse, it’s in some kind of self imposed lockdown, perhaps in a small part due to pending legal disputes over ffp but still explain your decision making PLEASE!

He specifically criticises *early leavers* for not supporting the team when we went a goal down. "Fickle nature" is a bit of a build on what he says

Fans give players stick. Players can let fans know when they are p*****g the players off, as here with leaving early. It's a two way street, and that's fine.

A defeat or a new low point to an ongoing issue lasting four years?

I'm not reading anything from anyone who expects us to "p**s the league". Anyone with a brain cell knows we're in a worse place than two seasons ago, and this year *could* be a struggle.

Definitely a good few who are annoyed by the attitude of the players, but also many more who see that as a consequence of the abysmal way in which our club is run.

Dropping the FNQ shite is the most ironic thing this club, players and some fans do. A group of players has never collectively quit on so many occasions. It’s utter, utter bullshit.

Assuming the statement about needing more is a true reflection about how they are feeling about themselves. The fans he wants more from have literally given everything for years. There comes a point when you can’t give anymore.

Suck it up son and get your own ducks in line, prove to us you’re fit to wear the shirt you were questioned on yesterday.

You asked a question, I gave an answer. Not really sure what else you wanted or why you'd reply in such a childish way.

We've bought a load of rubbish players and the PSR rules, coupled with the fact nobody wants to buy our turds, mean we're struggling to turn things around.

But top hasn't done this intentionally. It came about because he pushed the boat out trying for success, but our failure to quite reach the promised land, coupled with those terrible signings, has ended up disastrously.

You say he hasn't done it intenionally and then state the one the he has done intentionally. He messed with the model of success. Allied to your other statements - we've recruited poorly and given contracts no-one else can afford, means he's in charge of a complete footballing shitshow. If he's not directly responsible for that he should sack the guy who is, yet he doesn't, because they're friends. He's overseen nearly 5 years of steady decline and apart from "the things he's done for the community" no-one can point to anything he's done that's improved the club since his Dad died.

I cut him some slack for quite a few seasons but we're an utter shambles right now and it's all down to leadership and direction.
