I'm currently taking a few seasons off until this all subsides. I can't be around the negativity of the fans who want to go to moan and boo, mixed in with the delusion KPFC supporters. The fans are split into factions, in fact every aspect of the club seems to be divided. Until KP leave it won't change unfortunately.

We are going to be in the championship doldrums for a while if not heading to league one under KPFC until the club is sold we should continually protest. If Marti plays the young guns that would be the best strategy, but doubt he will do so to protect himself under Aiywatt/ Rudkin.

Not to blame but I don't think the fans particularly help at times. But it is up to the players to get fans on side with their attitudes and performances.

Isn’t it a two way street? Feels a bit chicken and egg. Although I totally get the reactions/mood.

Although the negativity is warranted and voices need to be heard. I think booing the players don't help at all. Look what situation Sheffield Wednesday are in yet their fans are brilliant and are the 12th man. Makes all the difference

They also have players running through brick walls for each other and playing for either free or next to nothing.

We have a board who is running the club into the ground and overpaid players who don’t want to be here and show the supporters little respect/appreciation. Massive difference between the 2

Sheff Weds are in a similar position to us back in the early 00’s, club was ****3d but the players gave everything so the fans got behind them

What happened to the rumours about Jon Rudkin letting Glover have more responsibility (Think it was from Rob Tanner) and moving a couple of steps sideways? Another false dawn?

What do you think the answer is then? Seriously.

It sounds like you think everyone should just clap the team, say nothing about the way the owner is running the club into the ground and go home and rinse and repeat the next week.

I get people don’t want to just stop going and respect that. However, buying stuff at the stadium does not help the manager and players in any way so I do think every single fan should turn off that source of income. Take your own food, wear an older retro shirt. Save your money for better things.

As for making voices heard against the owner, Rudkin etc, you really think that affects the players? Of course not, it’s just an excuse not to.

Makes me smile when people say ‘I’m not happy with things but…’ and go on a ramble about not protesting or making feelings heard. Clearly you aren’t unhappy with the state of the club if that’s the case and why not just own that?

We’ve dropped down a division and are squad isn’t as good as it once was…. It happens,

am I delighted about it? No

Do I think we are amazing well run? No

But this whiny tepid outrage is a bit laughable….

LCFC, in my 50 years of supporting them, have been great and very bad…. We’ve got a fresh and exciting crop of players coming through…. I’m prepared to trust ciffuentes and try and encourage whoever he puts in a shirt…. Far more helpful than booing them and spouting off on here…

Just a view!

Arghh the old “I’m positive (regardless of the evidence) football fan”.

You viewing yourself as the “better fan” excuses the club’s failings and hides their incompetence.

In my opinion, you’re contributing to our decline.

That’s your opinion,  but let me confirm that your opinion may be. Incorrect….

It is but I suggest the players have a bit more work to do in that regard

Oh I agree, but where is the spark lit? Does it start on the pitch or in the stands? Maybe it’s either. :dunno:

I hope it’s either, because these players have no fire within them, except for the odd few.

I’m watching non league, I did the whole WSL women’s season last season following Leicester and even they are being ruined by King Power. Not another penny until they are gone.

Let’s take Winks for example. Maybe stop the body language of a sulky teenager, do an interview, clear the air and show some positivity. That’s before he’s kicked a ball. That or take the first move out of here

Was nothing more than something fed to Tanner in attempt to rid Rudkin of accountability. Everything goes through Toenails and Aiyawatt.

If he is not happy, good, none of them should be, and if that is how he exhibits, who cares?

He ain’t coming to lunch, so if he a bit miserable, let him be miserable, let them all have crisis meetings and kick each other up the ass.

If we expect them to be joyous and ‘on it’ then it happens in one of two ways,  they either pick themselves up or we pick them up.

The former has not worked for the last few years…..so…..

Who cares? I suspect the people primarily paying his wages would accept a base level of professionalism. He’s got more fo make up to the fans than the other way around. The supporter base is tired of having to forgive the same personalities

People can be unhappy but maintain a professionalism and not become ‘mood terrorists’ as the psychologists like to call it.

As a senior professional, England international, I’d expect him to showing at the very least sensible actions for the younger parts of the squad.

Did you ever?  Total yawn of a post

get in the bin and anyone else who liked his daft post

Meanwhile you can sit and cheer the team off after another half arsed performance and continue to watch our club go down the toilet.

Well done you.

I’ve been going down since pleat was in charge. I’ve seen some 💩eras over the years but also seen some amazing eras. All I ever ask as a fan is whoever wears the fox they need to fight scrap and work as a team. Since 15/16 season it’s been a decline in that sense. Players using as a pension fund or a stepping stone. This has got worse since Top took the reins he doesn’t give a monkeys and would rather be on the polo pitch. While I’ll thank KP for what they did for the community hospitals ect and the fa cup/prem title. It’s time to move on to a new era any more of this good will be massively outweighed by the bad. TIME TO GO TOP AND TAKE YOUR CRONIES WITH YOU!!!

.....

The board clearly does not care enough, they could come and call these guys out but they won't.

And yes they are really the only ones who can fix this, but relationships have deteriorated with the fans so much I don't believe that have much interest in doing so behind turning up.

You can expect them to behave like dedicated professionals (as they should) but when they don't, when they seem unable to motivate themselves to do so, then what?

I get where people are coming from with this and yes I think people are being naive.

However, people want to support something that they were before king power and will hopefully be after king power.

The “blame” is with the people making the decisions at the club. Yes the fan should be making more noise, but blame for me rests with those he really can do something, owners, DOF and those players that think they are better than the level and not doing enough.

Then if they don’t leave by 1st September, you have to isolate them. They either commit to the plan or don’t. Bomb squad them.

The scenario is similar to Pearson after Sven invested in too many bad personalities. Over a year Pearson set about riding the squad of the bad eggs and replacing them with more dedicated players.

Honestly this just comes across as a very apathetic, I’ve been able to enjoy the club in my time so who cares about the future. Comes across a quite a selfish view. Many of us want a health club we can get behind supporting for years and decades into the future as well.

I think people such as yourself who use the ‘supported for 50 years’ line, miss the point as to why people are pissed off. Myself, I have supported this club since 2001 when I was 8. I have seen all the ups and downs, from the low of administration, Championship wilderness, relegation to League 1 and to the highs of 2016 and 2021. I didn’t even think I was supporting a club who could have back to back seasons in the Premier League until it happened in 2014. So it’s nothing to do with being relegated, or not being a fixture in the Premier League. It’s the culture of the club and the way it is being run. But this has been covered so often on here. Those who don’t get it (or appear not to), either have their heads so far in the sand or are trolling.

Where I do agree is backing Cifuentes and those calling for him already are a joke. As for the young players, yes exciting. But remember this crop of players has been in the making as a Premier League club. As our standing drops further, we are unlikely to produce these quality players in the same number again. Yes, there will be the odd one (there’s always been a Shilton or Linekar from time to time) but it will become infrequent and they will be taken for pennies in the current football world.
