100% agree. I don't know what the manager is trying to do here.  We have 2 full backs who never venture forward and 2 CDMs stationed about 10 yards ahead of the CBs. It's no wonder we can't progress the ball forward or look remotely like scoring unless it's a set piece. There's also no pressing or running off the ball at all.

Really poor. Centre mid is a problem position- Skipp dreadful and Soumare bang average again. Neither giving us any energy, Charlton just want it more than us. Desperately need Winks on, get a grip on things and break their press.

We are lucky Charlton are a poor side, we are devoid of any real quality. 

The midfield doesn't exist, they offer nothing.

Page unfortunately has looked out of his depth so far.

Ayew is a dreadful striker to have playing this way, kills all your momentum, obsessed with winning free kicks and plays exactly like a striker who only score 4 a season.

Fatawu is getting frustrated and over complicating it.

 

Its just a squad devoid of quality and belief. No real options to change it other than ricardo and hope.

 

Long season ahead of we dont bring some attacking options in.

We aren't going to score many goals from Thomas and Hamza whipping in crosses that only someone who is 8ft tall can reach. 

 

They need to play down the left to get Monga involved instead of justing feeding Fatawu everytime.

Soumare, Skipp and Page in the middle have been very poor.

 

Page gets a free pass due to the fact that he’s 16, but the other two? Absolute embarrassment.

 

Luke Thomas as well? Nowhere near Championship level.

Not very enjoyable. We can't press and are too easy to press into mistakes ourselves.

 

At least our keeper is decent.

To play half-hearted slowcoaches Soumare and Skipp in a team that is being constantly pressed in their own half - and therefore need quick layoffs and forward midfield drives to put their defence into retreat - beggars belief.

Too many passengers in this team that either dont give a shit or are scared of the ball. Its an embarrassment for the club to be honest. We will be in the lower half of the table and potentially worse should a substantial points deduction come our way
