He's absolutely not off the Bellingham Birmingham pipeline and people need to chill a bit. But he's a solid box to box midfielder with a lot of energy and he's definitely better than what we've got.

A loan and then a five million euro fee would be great business.

I can handle the fact hes not going to be world class and be destined for real madrid but if he fulfils his potential and becomes a leading performer in the championship and solid premier player player then its still a winner!

Hmmmmm he was very good on loan at Middlesborough in 2022/23 but missed all of last season with a bad knee injury.

If it's another loan with an option to buy that could be good business.

You'd say he's not an improvement on Skipp, Soumare, or Page?

Sorry, that was about Rubin Colwill.

JJ would and should 100% start ahead of Skipp.

If its true, I expect him to start as one of the 6s.

Yeah i'd want the fail safe in case his injury flares up.

The law of conservation of JJ states that JJ's cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed from one form to another, ensuring that the total JJ's in an isolated system remains constant.

Spare a thought for Jayden Joseph. Second best JJ at the club until James Justin left, only to become the second best JJ at the club (though now out on loan) all over again.

Anyone know how highly rated he was or is?

e.g how far behind would he be from someone like Hayden Hackney who is similar position and now making Middlesbrough top the league with his performances

buy options are great at the minute, cause if DiMarco gets us -6 this season and we do end up getting promoted we aren’t left with championship players that won’t cut in the Premier League

Significantly better than Skipp in the role he's been asked to play

Not as good as Hayden Hackney...

Well, for a start, you wouldn't get Hayden Hackney on loan with a €5m option.

lol I mean, they're a tabloid that push a lot of drivel.

We've been linked to loads of players by them before.

First to break Fofana coming to us..

& Tielemans I think (could be wrong).

Probably a similar level to where Hackney was two years ago.

He's a talented lad with a good head on his shoulders.
