Looks like Ramsey is potentially a Bilal replacement to play a little further forwards whilst James is more of a 6/8…. Both positions we needed to strengthen imo

Our midfield options for the two 6s that Marti wants to play are Soumare, Skipp, Winks and probably Hamza.

 

We desperately need bodies for those positions.

 

I think 1 is a must but if Winks wants to go then we'd need 2.

Really excited by this. A dynamic box to box player - we haven't had one for years. By the time KDH had excelled he was much more of an attacking 8 and the defensive side of his game sort of withered.

 

C. £5m will look a snip at the end of the season.

We weren't aware until an hour ago that Betis have made a number of bids for Daka. We are not a club that's easy to report upon at the minute. Winks wants out.

For a loan and option to buy for 5 mil euros for a young talented player you cant go wrong really even if he isnt as good as is expected. Looks like excellent business on the face of it.

Maximum of 5 in the match day squad. 

 

I think it's max of 4 from any one team?

The only regulation I know of is a maximum of 5 in a matchday squad, doesn't mean you can't have more though.

Though loans would be a GREAT approach isn't it somewhat revealing about our current financial approach??

The funny thing is that its like they suddenly woken up as to how approach bringing players in.

 

IF Only they had taken this approach this time last year:

Skipp=Loan with option to get rid (quickly)

BCDR=Loan to get rid when he disappears (Jan 25)

Ayew=Loan to get rid when he thinks he runs the team (Aug 25)

Edouard=Loan to get rid when he stops playing more than 1 min in a game (Oct 24)

Coulibaly=Loan to get rid when he stops playing (Feb 25)

Michael Golding= Loan to get rid IF we ever seem him (Aug 24)

true 

clearly marti believes he’s likely to go cos he’s picking skipp ahead of him 

 

can’t see him leaving the country given his domestic circumstances 

 

whilst we are notoriously careful about leaks, surprised we’ve had nothing leak from the other end or agent.  If there was an easy deal to do then surely it would have been done already.
