Winks has been majestic to be fair. Back to his old self controlling the game and proving the much needed creativity. Superb first half. Need Monga on for the pathetic Mavidi and we will kick on and win this

I'm watching a different game, think James still needs to find his place in the team.  Only been a half which i appreciate, but not seen enough to convince me yet. 

 

Changes at 60 mins needs to be Monga for Mav and don't all shoot me but Daka or the new guy for James. With Ayew dropping back.

We need to try something other than the underlap going forward, they've been wise to it all game. Overall though, better than I was expecting without really being a threat in their box. Got better as the half went on.

Carranza for Ayew now, then Monga for Mav and BDCR for Soumaré after 15-20 mins. JJ drops back, BDCR in the 10. Comfortable 2-0 win in the end...

As others have said, look okay in the first two thirds but final third we look quite toothless. It's essentially still just pass the ball to Fatawu and hope he can do something magic.

Seem to be finding it difficult to break down Coventry, who are pressing exceptionally well. Some brain dead passing from us. Most of the game it’s seemed like Cov have about 15 players on the pitch.  Neither side been particularly dangerous, but Cov had edged it for me.

Definitely seeing better patterns of play and we look a lot more assured in possession at the back with Faes in the team, once Ramsey’s suspension is completed and JJ drops back alongside Winks we really kick on.

We'll win this. Played slow so far and not really had much danger. Similar to the brum match. 2-0 .. without breaking stride

There is so much space when Fatawu and Mavadidi get the ball and are facing the defender.  Our players love to stand back and admire the step overs.

Due to have a worse second half than first.

James looks quality, Faes has distributed pretty well, we just look laboured, Soumaré running through treacle and no threat at the top of the pitch. Very much work in progress. Cov showing what having a settled group of players can do. Look organised and sharp.

, Cov are a good side. It feels dirty saying that but it’s true. I also think their strongest position is midfield. 
 

It’s difficult to dominate them even if these guys had been playing together for 30 games. The reality is, it’s winks first start in the league. James is our 4th 10 this season already. Riccy returns.

Jordan Ayew is one of them players that we all laughed down our noses at when various other clubs paid for him and played him over the last decade.  Wondering just how bad their owners must be to purchase someone like that who is universally renowned as fooking dreadful.
