Two things we know for sure Soumare will be in the midfield and Ayew will be starting

Forget winning the game then.

Felt so obvious as soon as rotters like Reid & Kristiansen came back Nelson & Page would drop out the squad.

yes I know Page was injured for Oxford but apparently fit for Coventry

Our lack of goals is starting to getting to be a problem. Ayew just not up to it  Daka does not know where the post are. Manager needs a rethink

A shame that it looks like the only way we will see Nelson this season is the FA Cup in January or a centre back getting injured - and this is before Souttar is back

Needs to go on loan again in January it looks like unfortunately

Yeah but where? Are we gonna loan him to a Championship side? Would we let him go to Europe?

I can see Rudkin not wanting to let him out on loan at all whilst he's not signed a new contract, and he's unlikely to sign if we're not letting him get game time - stalemate!

Controversial i’d keep Soumare in with Winks & have JJ over Ayew with Carranza leading the line.

If I’m correct Coventry are not only leading scorers in the division they have also had the most shots on goal in the division and our midfield 3 covered our very slow CBs yesterday to restrict Coventry to just a few chances.

We might not rate him but Soumare must have done something to contribute in that & having Ayew as the 3rd midfielder leaves a hell of a lot of work for a 2 of Winks|JJ to do both in defending then getting the team up the pitch.

Sorry without sounding rude but you lost me after those first 5 words...

The Jogging Donkey is a waste of a squad space, and after watching him week after week I still can't fathom how managers continue to pick the lazy incompetent clown.

I would rather play any one of the U21's. Any would at least offer a workmate, a bucket of passion, and a drive to try and  impress, polar opposite to Soumare.

OK they may a make mistake, but this fraud of a footballer has made more than his fair share of them  whilst stealing a wage off the club. Seeing his name on the starting line up each match "boils my pi$$"

I will have a party the day this liability finally leaves the club.

Our lack of goals? In one whole game?

He is right though. If we had a half decent striker over the course of a season we would turn a number of draws in to wins and defeats in to draws.l which is the difference between being on the mix or not.

we are toothless up front and require way too many chances to bag

Would be the most LCFC thing ever to put that XI out and get battered 🤣🤣🤣

This is the problem, if we lose with this team it will be flipped instantly. Really we should have started with it and give it time.

This has to be the team. Can't have another game or Ayew being the main striker then dropping into right back and CDM to pick up th ball!

Good job you ain't the manager, then.

It'll be the same people moaning about a lack of commitment from the likes of Winks and Faes again in a few weeks time. Leopards don't change their spots and we should stop building our team around these players.

Happy for Soumare to play even though he has wanted out before and way more often than not shows a serious lack of commitment and effort when playing?

I think ideally i'd play Hamza and James as a midfield 2 but yeah, Soumare still being here is a result of the club not making the place hell for these players. It's a haven for footballers that want to earn 80k a week for 4 years and put in minimal effort. These players still get rewarded and it's a key reason (if not the number one reason) as to why we're in this mess.

For what it's worth though, I think Soumare has applied himself quite well on the whole this season. It's a sorry situation where someone like him is one of the hardest working central midfielders at the club. The club failed at draining the swamp this summer. We got rid of all of our sellable assets (minus Fatawu) but didn't do enough to get rid of the likes of Soumare, Winks, Faes, Vestergaard etc who are only here for the dough and the easy ride.

The rebuild gets pushed down the road constantly under Rudkin. It had to be more cutthroat IMO.

Stalemate is a situation where you have no options available to you.  We do.  Play him.  It's not a risk, he is proven at this level.

It will be a scandal if we lose a talent like Nelson because we chose Faes or Vestergaard who are both average and leaving soon, ahead of him.

Totally agree.

I can see it happening though.
