Aye. No specific owner of the action. No expected next date of update, no measurables. I work as a senior manager in a corporate business and if I took actions away like this I'd he hung out. 

 

It's also pathetic if the FAB dont challenge these actions.

Introducing ID checks for away tickets.

 

Only 18.3% of 3,976 respondents in the Trust’s End of Season Survey support this approach (you could only answer the question if selecting you typically attend at least one away game each season).

 

There’s an absolute chasm between what the club hear (or pay attention to in the Fan Engagement Framework) and what the wider fan base thinks and feels.

These things are a box ticking exercise for the club and a feel good busy body glow for the likes of Basin. 

 

I watched that podcast basin was on (during the FT elections) where he became really quite animated and excited in explaining some complicated convoluted pyramid of filtering feedback to the club. The classic parish council do gooder  approach of being busy, doing nothing. 

 

 The classic useful idiots. 

 

The Foxes Trust need to step up and stop playing the club at their own game of fudge and fuddle. They haven't been as muscular as I'd hoped the new board would be. Stop tapdancing to the club's absurd tunes and Issue statements,. open letters and calls to action about how the club should be run. 

 

Don't ask. Just do..Show the shambles of a club that a shadow cabinet of competency and good governance exists.

Based on the actions, there is no need for a meeting whatsoever. Just send an email and they can post they'll take on the feedback.

Maybe the “against ID checks” needs a deeper dive survey 

 

What are the main objections?

 

The justification from clubs is based mainly around fans buying tickets and then selling/passing on to others - which gets around the away priority points systems, so some with high priority rarely go to games themselves 

 

That said the away priority points system does need revising & a revision should not have been delayed for another season 

 

Also that many trouble makers at away games are not fans who originally bought the tickets & therefore harder to identify

So it’s basically a sledge hammer to crack a nut then, isn’t it?!
 

Why should many supporters be inconvenienced because a) the club won’t re-vamp the away priority system and b) there’s the old trouble maker in an away end (which happens at every club)?

 

It doesn’t really matter what the reasons are that people are against it when there’s such a small percentage in favour of it. I’d sooner find out why people are actually for inconveniencing their fellow fans.

 

The hilarious thing is that this is introduced as we plummet to League One. The first time round they tried it was supposedly because of Premier League guidance/advice (well it’ll be a while before that applies) and this time round it’s brought in as there really won’t be a hot black market for tickets to see Leicester away in the third tier.

 

IMO it’s about nothing other than control and clamping down on a profile of fan the club considers undesirable.

Changes have been made at the club (not the change desired by many), it is now all about when & how often the new CEO and particularly the new SD communicate directly to the fans (and ensure that is maintained)

 

Many of the comments relating to "lack of engagement" really means those leading the club aren't talking to us (the entire fan base) in a meaningful way (like Ipswich & Southampton did last season & Wolves this season) and providing a sense of direction, as per call to action 4, rather than anything else regarding fan consultation

 

The current FAB & FCC members can only continue to bang that drum until it happens

The Advising Fans Front and Fans Front of Advice stand together with the directors of LCFC to remind fans that, whilst we abuse players, fans and referees, it should never be directed at directors because they are directors.

 

The Popular Fans Advice Front and The Campaign for Free Board Advice also stand together to remind fans that the club’s main sponsor is illegal in Leicester and the rest of the UK and fans caught using it will be prosecuted.

 

The Popular Advisory Front declined to stand together but stressed that although directors should make good decisions they have the right to make bad decisions.

I hope they're right - I just don't have faith in the club heirarchy to keep their promises

See the thing with some of this, while I wouldn’t say I don’t give a shit about us complying with FFP, it’s pretty obvious to me that the question should actually be “can you guarantee the current owners can absorb the loses needed to ensure we actually have a football club in 5 years and how”.

 

Id be shocked if this hasn’t been asked, and I do get that publishing questions like this leads to speculation, but that’s the question surely.
