If Ward is playing, we can’t let him off lightly. We need to make an atmosphere that will make him fold like a deckchair. None of this woke clappy bollocks. Get into him.

He won’t be playing.

  Fatawu    Ayew     Mavididi

Ricardo to come off the bench if required. Rest with Preston in mind. Faes dropped after a poor performance. Soumare to drop out too.

Sorry, but Ayew as a 10 just won't work.

His falling over and backpassing antics will blunt any forward attacking momentum, he'll create naff all and slow our already temped play further.

Daka, lovely bloke,  but he'll never be a striker as long as he has a hole in his @rse.

Mavididi, is just off the pace totally and needs benching.  But Monga for a full 90?

Play "hulian" and instruct the midfield just to find him, don't care how just do it. Cross it, through ball, over the top  The poor bloke last match got sweet Fvck all service.

Narrow win for us I think. I'll go for a 1-0. I don't see anything radical happening when it comes to the starting eleven, tactics or subs so why wouldn't the game pan out like the rest have?

We'll likely make Wrexham look crap to average, dominate play, and then bemoan our attacking options after the game.

We're probably going to concede, it's us. But I've hate-watched these enough times now this season to be able to say they're garbage with confidence.

We SHOULD be winning this 3 or 4-1.

Which game have you seen this season where we look capable of scoring more then 2, nevermind 4?

One of the things that irritates me, is we don’t seem to stop anyone playing to their strengths. No doubt we will allow Wrexham to bully us today, rather than seek to play through them.

I can't believe that Danny Ward, after everything he didn't do for us, hasn't got the decency to play tonight and return the favour.

His elbow injury merely means he can't use one of his arms. I really don't see how that would somehow affect his typical performance, so it's a silly excuse.

Unbelievable. Extremely disappointed with him.

I'm rather ridiculously looking forward to the game. Then I'll see the line up and sigh

He desperately needs to start Monga, Winks and Ricardo and drop Faes & Soumare

Carranza needs to start

Cov had an xg of 0.4. We did stop them playing to their strengths.

My immediate thought was Coventry.  We owned their midfield and didn't let them dictate the game as they have with others.  The most free scoring team in the division racked up a 0.

Good point, I think I was so angry we didn’t win I’ve blocked any positives out.

Don't get the negativity on here. Win tonight at home and we are challenging the top 2. Positivity please.

I think some people expecting it to be like Maresca 2 years ago. That squad was exceptional for this level. We have made a solid start in my opinion, just need to push on in next 2 now.

And have played a fair proportion of top ten teams, might not be come season end, but are based on current form…why all the negativity……I might be alone, but after a season of winning every game, followed by a season of losing every game, I am quite enjoying the normality of being in a “normal” season….

Really wish everyone was up for it. Seem ready to launch into mistakes before they have even happened. Opportunity tonight to get the leap on someone, as Stoke and Middlesbrough play each other.

Genuinely gutting that Ward isn't playing. A lot of healing would have been done.

That "Oooooooh twat, you're shit ahhhh" would have hit like crack cocaine.

Leicester City have been hit by devastating injury news prior to their game with Wrexham - Danny Ward has been ruled out with an elbow problem.

A Leicester spokesperson said "This obviously affects the way we saw the game going, it's a huge blow but we'll just have to dig deep and find another way to get the win regardless of our bad luck on the injury front. We tried everything we could, offered Wrexham use of our medical facilities and staff but just couldn't get him back to fitness in time. The lads are naturally devastated, particularly the strikers, it's an unlucky break, it feels grossly unfair but we'll just have to soldier on and deal with it"

Nah we'll seek to play through a low block and then be bemused when we can't break them down and be even more bemused when they score on the counter. Then we'll up the tempo and go more direct and come back into it.
