Would have loved to have seen Nelson involved even if only on the bench but really not much to complain about, the changes make sense and it shows Marti is prepared to change it up and try new things at the top end of the pitch, let’s hope it clicks tonight.

He’s a bit like Nacho isn’t he, you just want them to click and find the form they had pre Leicester.

Do love a redemption story.

Really? No Ricardo. Vestergaard and Faes tried and failed on numerous occasions.

BDCR what the **** and Patson Data enough said.

He's supposed to be bringing young players through - I'd have been playing Nelson and Okoli, Ricardo in Midfield with Winks, The new Argentinian striker

It beggars belief - seriously the mans another lunatic

Carranza looks absolutely average like we were warned.

Vestergaard and Faes are very good players at this level.

If we’d have gone and purchased replacements for them, we wouldn’t have 3/4 of the player of those two. They’ve frustrated me in the Premier League, however we aren’t playing at that level.

I’d play Ricardo in every game, however realistically he won’t do a 46 game season, he needs managing.

Nelson is an interesting one, as I’d suggested he maybe needed a loan if he wasn’t going to play this season. Unfortunately Okoli would Struggle to pass a cold 6 yards at times and whilst I’ve been frustrated with our tactically setup at times, I can see what we are trying to do, albeit it’s too slow.

Bizarrely I think the midfield three is the issue. Winks addresses some of that, we need another player like him in a way that can drive the ball forward out of tight spaces and break the press.

Sensible. Rest Ricardo to avoid three games in a few days.  Give Monga a start.  Drop Ayew as he isn't a goal machine and he needs a rest.  Not sure about BCDR.  In because he's an old head?

Ricardo is also pretty damn useful to bring on if he's needed.

Absolutely abysmal.

I'm going early with Marti out.

I've had enough of the twonks we've had as managers now - It's beyond a joke

unless we win of course

I fully respect and understand Ricky P needing resting/protection but how damning that we are infinitely weaker offensively without our first choice RB.

Fully fit though, he is the best right back in the league by a country mile

He’s also our joint top goalscorer! :D
