pmcla26 Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 The game changing mistake was taking Reid off and putting Skipp on. Allowed them to start having time in midfield once we went to having two 6s. Killed our momentum.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 When will people realise that there isn’t a manager in the world that can get these players to play! Aside from probably 2 or 3 players they are all overpaid and under skilled footballers. It doesn’t matter who is at the helm. The problem is year after year of horrendous recruitment is finally coming home to roost. It’s not going to get better overnight. This will take years to fix and quite possibly will end up as a stint in the lower leagues. There is not one single positive at the moment about Leicester City to cling on to. Not one.
lcfcdamo Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 Tbf bringing on skipp is a sackable offence

Couldn't have put it better myself. The simplicity of people to constantly think our problems lie with the manager everytime is staggering but also not

Danizen Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 (edited) This isn't a squad, it's a rabble. Until we let a manager sort that out, we're going to be going around in circles. Edited 30 September 2025 by Danizen 3
Pita Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 The management have dropped him right in the 💩💩💩💩💩 now he’s taking the blame for there cock ups
Parafox Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 Were never going to get any decent tried and tested manager whilst Top and Rudkin and Whelan are running the show. I just don't know what the alternative is.
WigstonWanderer Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 The laboured build up just seems to be part of our DNA these days. Not sure we can blame Marti for that. His subs were shite in the Wrexham match though.

Filbert Fireworks Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 Given last year and lack of preseason we're probably not far off where we should be at. Minus a Vesty calamity and we'd be second in the league. Just need a bit more bravery.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 Get Dyche in....at least he'll throw the book at them, like he did wth Coady whey they were at Everton and sent him packing back to wolves

Thank the lord someone else can see it.

Ndidi, Vardy, KDH, Hermansen had pretty major parts in that team. Not to mention having another PL winner in Albrighton at the club too. Obviously we won't be able to perform near that level when the replacements (bar maybe James) are substantially worse. 1
cityfanlee23 Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 Hate possession football so i've had a bias against his system from day 1, the only thing that stops me from publicly calling for him to go is the fact he seems to somewhat "get" the club and sounds like he understands our position, but on the pitch i'm not fussed if he goes tomorrow. Boring, slow, predictable football as I feared. I was sold the idea we would be dominating the ball in a "crash and bash" style attacking flurry with potentially big scorlines at both ends. We've been turgid upfront with 5 players you would consider "cheat codes" at this level, and produced less than 1xg in every single game, and still make mistakes in defence. Give me heavy metal gegenpress over this any day of the week. 1

Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 Give over. That 1st half was the best patterns of play ive seen all season. But unfortunately our wide men aren't creating anything. And our set up is pretty reliant on them firing which they aren't.
DezFox Posted 30 September 2025 Posted 30 September 2025 BORING!!!! Maybe I’m disillusioned, is every manager in the world boring or just our last 3? Same thing over and over!

I'd be happier if he just said to hell with defending, attack attack attack. Winks, Mavididi, Monga, Fatawu and Ricardo are absolutely miles above this level as proven under Enzo, they are being completely nullified by Marti-ball. We create absolutely nothing with 5 players that have to be up there in the list of best players the championship has seen, atleast in recent years.
