My finger is still pointing at the players. Daka, in a game where we were going to dominate possession, is a crap decision. Bringing Skipp on - ever - is a crap decision. Not bringing Ayew on to hold the ball up and give us an out whilst we were leading ……. is a crap decision. But more than anything, our players were crap. But my finger is twitching and Marti has to do better with what he has. It might be poor, but it’s still a better hand than most managers have in this league. He’s hugely likeable, but that won’t cut it for long with performances like this.

Give over. That 1st half was the best patterns of play ive seen all season. But unfortunately our wide men aren't creating anything. And our set up is pretty reliant on them firing which they aren't.

Wow, you are part of problem. How you can defend that is beyond me. wake up lol

I’m sick and tired of people on here saying this is a mid-table squad. It isn’t. This squad is comfortably top 6. If we don’t go up it’ll be down to Marti. He needs to turn this around NOW. Or the board will have to move him on. Someone will come in and get this squad firing.

We are only 5th because the players are actually good enough for this level because the Championship is poor. Thats despite the manager making bad decisions in game and unable to select a coherent side. Stick Maresca in charge of this squad and we would be top. He’s just not good enough as a manager.

Daka wasn't really the issue today, he actually helped stretch it considering how deep they sat

Because it's true. The first half was the best we've played all season

I’m not having him. I appreciate that in general we’re ****ed, but regardless of that I expect more from us. This football is as bad as I’ve seen us play for years.

Im just saying that tactically it was looking better 1st half. But Mavs and Fats are not in form. Which is not entirely the managers fault. What he does about it will be though.

Did you not watch us last year then?

Stretch it where? At no point was that game ‘stretched’. They denied him space behind and he has virtually nothing else to offer. In a dominant team, he’s a liability.

What’s the point the squad is shit the management at board level is shit the support is reflecting what there seeing on and off the pitch, no manager who will do any good will come in anyway

Ah okay, so we didn't get in behind at all then?

We have a manager that we can afford and who seems to have a bit about him. There was not much choice because it is a tough gig.and it still is. I was totally fed up last season and only saw us going one way so I am surprised how we are doing so far.

8 games in and in top 6 so he isn’t exactly struggling yet. Wasn’t impressed with skipp coming on though. Wrexham caused no issues all game until the scored . I think it will click soon let’s not forget didn’t get a full pre season and hasn’t had the luxury of his own players yet

When will people realise this is solely due to Rudkin and Top. Managers have come and go but one thing has always remained constant. Its poor management from the top. We are essentially a shitter version of Man Utd

You’re bang on

A sacking of a manager

A new managerial appointment

Couple of signings

And the King Power Out thread is probably 8 pages deep by now

Yes, which says a lot. We’re playing against a collection of some of the nations worst teams, and we look shit.

He’s been dealt an awful hand with some of the squad players who he needs to play good minutes. However he needs to see that some of these are nowhere near good enough, which I’m becoming more and more concerned that he can’t.

I agree with others that the striker options are dire, but our entire attacking output is dependent on a winger (usually Abdul) producing some absolute magic and beating two or three defenders. He has to look at the template Enzo had and get more support, two shots on target in two games is woeful.
