Susan Whelan steps down as CEO

Very frustrating how this boardroom ‘rift’ has been kept under wraps and I’m pretty sure everyone would’ve vocally sided with Whelan had this information been public, which then may have led the chairman to make better decisions.

Serious question: This loyalty to Rudkin, is Top ****ing him ? No jokes. Like, are they lovers ?

I think she's due a lot of criticism on the commercial side of things but in terms of direct of the footballing side, she understood the concerns more than anyone else. Her standing amongst PL execs was high. She has often stepped in on things to make them happen whereas others wouldn't budge. 

Most sensible observation the fact that this is not a managed transition and Aiyawatt steps in from the other side of the world tells me she had enough and was weary to fight any more. Foxes Trust Survey got part of what they wanted. Not sure Aiyawat as CEO is an improvement.

Is she gone because of the issues with Rudkin, or the corporate side becoming wholly corrupt and the bad sponsorships etc? Is there more bad news the club, and it's dodgy links, are aware of about to be revealed...?

There is an awful lot that she takes a large responsibility for. The financial mismanagement, the 3 PSR breaches, the lack of communication, the lack of a strategy, the countless shady betting company deals, the failed shirt sponsor, the failed stadium redevelopment, the atrocious fan engagement, the season ticket card fiasco, the constant push back on anyone that tries to create an atmosphere....I could go on forever.

 

HOWEVER, this is not good news. It's helps to solidify both Top & Rudkin, giving them more power and more say. This doesn't end well.
