This is not the positive news many may interpret it to be. If it had been Rudkin leaving crack it the champers. From what I understand Whelan has been pushing for a changes which have fell on deaf ears. This led to conflict which it seems Whelan has lost.

Another dip for the rollercoaster club that is Leicester City in my opinion

The bastard Top may be suggesting he is CEO but we all know how he runs things. The protest, chants etc. the reality, today, Rudkin won. He actually got a promotion.

What a sad day for the club.

Four legal ding dongs with EPL and EFL (every 3.5 years in her tenure).

Reluctance to sell tickets on general sale, discouraging a new generation of fans. Add to that the Charity Shield and Moscow ticket débâcles.

Deliberately making life difficult for UFS and FoxesTrust.

The fake betting sponsorships.

The inability to market ourselves overseas, despite being dealt a four ace hand.

The stadium slowly falling to bits. The stadium redevelopment debacle.

The financial mismanagement that lost us  hundreds of millions in player assets,.lost our EPL status and then inability to retain EPL status

The Macquirie loans.

The lack of communication.

The deification of Vichai and Top

And this is such a good summary for anyone who says, “she wasn’t involved in football”. Fine. What about the rest of the shite her team produced.

Top and Rudkin as ceo is disastrous but Whelan equally culpable.

Not locking down a sponsor is the largest incompetency in football. For a club as cash strapped as ourselves, it’s beyond negligent

Add the sponsor to the list of everything that’s been neglected !
It’s a long list

How our stadium is still getting the attendance it’s getting on a Saturday with KP continuing its neglect towards the club is incredible !

Because people would rather whinge on here than vote with their feet ''well I go with my dad so it's a good social'' or ''I like the people I sit near''

Rudkin to CEO might not be the worst, can bring in a new DOF then

Leicester City can confirm that Khun Top will assume the role of Director of Football as well as CEO and chairman.

If results don't improve soon he will also take over as first team manager.

A PE Teacher reaching the dizzy hieghts of DOF is bad enough.... becoming a CEO would be utterly abhorrent lol

Not convinced this is the one that we wanted to go?? Always felt quite assured with her at the club. Less so those around her.

How many CEOs do you know that have managed to keep their jobs with the kind of losses we have have made year after year?

Top taking more responsibility is the last thing we need.

Tweedle dee and tweedle dum both clearly not going anywhere, how thoroughly depressing.

Whilst he's at it we need a centre forward - Top up Top perhaps :dunno:

Why they listing off team achievements on the pitch in Susan Whelan's goodbye article?

Genuinely I'd like someone to tell me why that is. Disastrous decision after disastrous decision when she arrived until Alan Birchenall suggests Nigel Pearson, who with his team turns us around.

Then even Ranieri was about 11th choice on the list to succeed. Again, absolutely no one above made any great decision making to ensure he arrived.

It's widely accepted that the achievement of the Premier League was the miracle it was because of the extremely squad value. Nothing was masterminded by anyone on board level, including our owners, at that time.

We then proceeded to spunk absolutely all of that away, bar the initial success under Rodgers because of a bit of a ripple effect from the Pearson/Ranieri era. Again I struggle to think of anything I can pin on Whelan and co. for any of it.

Leicester City should be a case study for all businesses on how not to credit all of your staff for success, and look at who actually achieve it because it will end like this for any business who do the same.

Look at like this KT made a pigs ear of KP duty free so what do you think is going to happen.
Let them hang themselves

If the article accurately apportioned the success to the people who were involved in it - it'd make everybody still at the club look terrible, it's basic self-preservation
