Would love, just for a season, for our REAL bums on seats attendances to be used. No way in the world are we on 95% this season. Only 1500 free spaces? The West stand wings have gaps galore, the padded seats are rarely occupied and all around us in the East Stand there are 3 or 4 seats at a time on various rows that are empty.

Its another one of King Power's attempts to control a narrative, cover up deficiencies and protect their product.

It shouldn't be allowed - haven't been at the games so can't really vouch for Leicester's empties or not but clubs like West Ham take the piss posting a 60k every game when it's just blatantly nowhere near.

Unfortunately for them they can’t control everyone’s vision !
Not fooling anyone

It would help if it was easier to pass on season tickets when not able to attend.

Resale only works when all other options have sold out.

Fewer people in the stadium is an inevitable outcome of the push to make everyone go digital. It was always going to happen.

Those figures are definitely incorrect. We've had a number of empty seats in front of us most games this season and you can see significant areas of space at games.

The ko times haven't helped. Against Wrexham only 2 of us from our group of 9 attended.

I'm away for the next 3 games, listed for resale but they won't sell because it's not sold out in other categories. And, due to the ko times, friends can't attend.

Many of the empty seats are season ticket holders away on holiday or couldn’t be bothered to go but because those seats are already paid for they will be counted as occupied.

Said it before, collectively cheaper to keep season ticket, attend games I want to/can, than pay on the day, haven’t missed a game  for years until this season…..will likely miss a few more…..

It’s not - it’s just how they count season tickets.

They can keep that count for their own records. Attendance is how many turn up. If you declare the attendance is 31,546 but we've only got 28,798 in the ground, thats a lie. Its all about optics to them, not wanting to show a figure below 30k. We've had games where the away team brought less than 1k fans, left us with a massive gap in the corner yet we still gave the att out as over 30k. Its nonsense.

Blimey, some of you will use anything to have a go at the ownership of the club.

We aren’t the only club that adds season tickets and unsold but paid for (by the visiting club) away tickets to the total.

Every club does it!!!!

Some of you need help.

I just look at that list and can’t help but think teams like Boro were probably looking at similar 10/15 years ago and a few seasons mid table at this level means people just get fed up. I still think we’ve missed the boat for the extension.

Most of us don't forget where we have come from. Being able to walk up on match day and buy from a 5 foot bloke behind stained glass wasn't that long ago.

You used to get your tickets at a church for dwarves?

I do miss the days when you could just turn up and buy a ticket.

When it was at Filbert Street, it was a mobile outside the Family Stand, you could buy them on the day.

The kick off time versus Portsmouth is an abomination….   They won’t be home until 2am and I’ll miss Strictly

Yet I can personally guarantee that those who absolutely must leave the ground on 91 minutes to get home for strictly and/or catch 'the last train' for their 4000 mile round trip, despite missing the aforementioned TV show and last train, will still leave on 91 minutes.

Yeah and it shouldn't be allowed.

Not that old to remember that.

I can remember paying on the turnstile, but in decimal currency lol

Middlesbrough have always had poor attendances, even when they were relatively safe in the Prem. Probably a demographic/affordability thing.

Finances are really tight and something has to give.

As gate receipts become less of a portion of clubs' incomes, more should be done to actually fill stadiums, create atmospheres and produce a better 'product' to use the corporation jargon.

Watching the NFL game on Channel 5 - the stadium is completely full but crowd still needs to be encouraged/messaged to make some noise at the 'right times' :P  How long until we see that in the footy? :P Maybe having a full stadium is overrated :P /s
