We’re a far less attractive proposition now for any potential manager than at any point since the Thais took over. Of course it could be someone worse.

Him and Rudkin are a running joke in the football circles; we on this forum aren't the only ones who's been in on it. By now everyone knows they are fools. Any decent manager who signs up with us hasn't been paying attention.

Raj Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Unless we take a risk on a hungry up and coming manager who has played the game at the top level, proved himself as a manager at a lower league, it will end up being Ruud, Marti, the 3rd.

Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 26 January Posted 26 January I think we get an ageing manager - perhaps a bit of a dinosaur - who feels sorry for Aiyawatt and Rudkin - and has nothing to lose or prove, or a young/up and coming manager who sees this is a step up. We’ve gone too far to get anyone with a decent track record in the prime of their career.

Claudio Fannieri Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Don’t think this man has been mentioned but I would take a look at Alex Neil at Millwall doing a very good job, is very steady and aside from a spell at Stoke has done a good job at every club he has been at. Very good record in the championship and seems to take no prisoners. Would be a decent appointment. 1

Spudulike Posted 26 January Posted 26 January Not sure why the favour for old dinosaurs like Mowbray and Rowett even on a short term basis. Other Championship clubs (Norwich, Middlesboro, WBA) haven't gone down this route I want to be inspired. The club needs some excitement to lift the storm clouds. 2
